5 Ways to Make Money with Human Design

Hello, and welcome to Unshakable with Human Design. I’m your host, Nicole Laino. And it’s just us today, and we are actually right now in the middle of the inaugural launch of my Integrated Human Design certification. So this is something I’ve been asked to do for years, and quite honestly, I didn’t feel ready, and I didn’t really want to until now. I’d been asked so many times, and every single time, my sacral said no. And I listened. And then finally people started asking me, and I started to get a different response. So here I am launching this, and I’m so excited about it. 


But I know a big question for people as they are, you know, as I’m talking to people about joining the certification and as they’re weighing their options, and I know where everybody is right now, where the world is right now, it feels a little unstable. So one of the questions I keep getting is, how do I make money doing this? Because I get some people who have come to me and they’re like, I already have some human design training. I don’t really feel like it’s sufficient. I don’t love it. I feel like there’s more that I could learn, but I’m also not making money with it, so how would I do that? And so I want to break down. I feel like I’ve monetized every aspect of this particular system, and I wanted to talk a little bit. 


I’m going to give you five ways that you can make money with human design after you properly learn it. And that’s why my certification is called Integrated Human Design, because it isn’t just about putting up what does it mean to have a defined G center? It’s like, that’s fine, but if that’s all there is to it, then it doesn’t feel all that compelling for people to want to pay you. Right. Or to go deeper. And the last thing you want is people paying you to go deeper. And then they never take another step with you or they fall off with it because it felt like, you know, okay, cool. And then they move on and never look at human design again, or they just decide to, like, ask ChatGPT what to do with their design. 


What does it Mean we have to better than the bots, Right. So I’m going to break down five ways that I have made money. I’m going to talk a little bit more even about each one and just kind of lay this out for you of how you can actually use this system to make money. And I think the beauty of adding human design to your business, like just as a general aspect, is that you get to grow while you’re doing it. So as the world is changing, as you are changing that background frequency that we’ve talked about so many times on this show, the 2027 change, it’s changing all of us because suddenly the music has changed. So we’re starting to move differently to it. Right? Well, human design can bring you home to yourself. So of course there is this benefit. 


I love to get paid to do something I want to do anyway. I, I love to explore myself. I have always loved digging into what makes me different, what makes me special, and doing the work on myself, doing that inner work and human design. I don’t think that there’s any better tool out there to do that. So you get that added benefit to it all. So no matter what you’re doing, if you are a manager in corporate, this is going to make you a better manager. Of course, you can’t run into the charts of every single person that works with you. You know, you have to ask their permission and you can sort of do it in a sneaky way. You can, like I do with celebrities, you can look people up based on their birthday. Most people will celebrate their birthday at work. 


You can look it up and get an idea of what people are. But even without that, you can start to look and see people differently. So that’s the non monetizable aspect of it, although it has sort of a byproduct of being monetized. Because if you are a better manager, then you will probably get promoted, you will probably have greater job stability, you will enjoy your job more. People will enjoy working for you or with you more because you’re honoring who they are and you’re able to help guide them in a way that feels so supportive that you are looked upon as a more valuable employee. Right. You really add something to the workplace, to every single person that you work with. Right. Another thing I want to say is there’s a lot of things out there that are unstable. 


We don’t know what’s going to happen in the job market. But when you have a skill that you can market, you have control. I like that. I Like having control and knowing that I can sell stuff. Now some of these you’re going to know, they’re going to seem obvious, but I’m going to talk about kind of the inner workings of them. That can really give you an idea of how you make this actually work.

Not just knowing what you can sell, but how do you sell these things? Right. What’s the key to selling all of these? Okay, so let’s get into it. The first way that you can make money with human design is. It’s pretty obvious though is readings. You can do readings. Now some people might say, well if I’m doing readings then you know, that’s how many people are really going to buy them. It’s one one time, you know, once you do a reading then what, where do you go? Well, this is where the art of the offer comes in. You can package a reading in so many different ways. There are multiple types of readings that you can do. 


I have done, I’ve had some people that have come back to me for like four or five readings between having their family readings done, doing partnership readings, partnerships in business, partnerships in family. I’ve had them come back for business readings that I do. I do all sorts of readings. You might do a love reading, you know, as you dig into the chart, you might get different ideas. You can do little mini readings on just one particular aspect or problem somebody is having. There are so many ways that you can get creative with doing readings outside of just doing a standard foundational reading with every single person and then nothing else. And this is where again like the art of the offer comes in because you have to think about it. Yes, we want continuation with these clients. 


So if you’re doing readings, well, what’s the best way to work with them next? Do you move them into a one one container sort of relationship of coaching with you. Do you move them into something else? And we’ll talk about the different offers here that are moving downstre. But no matter what you do, if you’re working with human design, we want to think about like how do we monetize this? And how do we monetize this in a way that supports you long term, not just short term. That is core you thriving as a practitioner, right? But what human design does is it does give you a very specific thing to market. 


So if you’ve marketed mindset or, you know, nervous system regulation and tools like that before, if you are a therapist where you’ve worked with people, adding something like human design to what you do is going to give a level of specificity to what you do. Because most people will ask you, well, how will you get me results? And a lot of times we can’t answer that because we have a process, maybe we don’t understand or. And this is what I work with people in business by design on all the time. We’re always like, okay, well, let’s define your process. Human design. What’s beautiful about this lovely system that I teach is that I don’t really have to sell it very hard. 


Most people are sold on human design by the time they make it to me or if they’ve discovered it through me, they were curious about it, they heard about it somewhere, they ran a chart, and then they found me. Now I’m just being the person that they choose, right? I’m being the one that they pick. That’s the beauty of it. So your readings can be an expression of you make them something special, not just a reading. Tell people why, right? Why should they want a reading with you? Why should they want this particular kind of reading? What are you giving them with it? Do they get a workbook with it? Do they get something else with it? Do they get another call with you? 


These are all things that you can add on to the reading itself to make it more profitable, to make it more lucrative for you, to make them get greater value and to put more money in your pocket, right? This is how you have to think, get creative with this people. The art of the offer. Now, the second way that you can make money with human design is obviously adding it to your existing coaching practice or having this be a completely separate way that you coach people. You can coach people exclusively on their human design alignment. I do this with people. I have some people that come to me. 


Even though I teach business of human design, I have some people that come to me and they’re like, you know, I’m interested in the business stuff, but I don’t really have a business or I don’t really know. I just want help. I really feel drawn to this system, but I don’t know how to Guide myself through it. I want help and I want somebody to ask questions to or to be able to guide me and point me in the direction of my purpose, help me find my way. So I have people that work with me like that and then I have other people who are business coaching with me where human design is just an aspect that we add to it. Where you’re really never separating me from human design. I’m always looking at it. 


But sometimes I just have people that come to me that want help and they want human design help. They just want to ask me all their human design questions. You can certainly structure something like that too. You can structure it with calls, you can structure it with Voxer if you want to. Just have the walkie talkie app style support where people are messaging you and you get back to them a few times a day. You can schedule it however you want. You can structure it however you want. It’s so freeing. It’s such a beautiful way. And you can structure your pay structure however you want. You can charge people whatever feels right to you. Start at a price and then escalate the price as demand goes up for your offers. 


When you have no room left on your one one schedule, then guess what, it’s time to raise your prices. There’s a way to make money with this. That is, this is a very in demand system. People are googling and searching for human design every single day. Thousands and thousands and thousands of people are searching for ways to navigate this system. Those people should be finding you. If this is something that you’re qualified to help people with, that’s what our certification is going to do. It will prepare you to actually make money with this system. It’s an investment both in yourself because you get to transform through this and in your business and in your skill set, your monetizable skill set. Now the third way that you can make money with human design is to do workshops and masterclasses. Think about it. 


These can be in person, these can be online. However, whatever feels best to you. However it feels best for you to teach. You can do them on elements of human design. You can do them where they are longer term. Maybe they are week long workshops where people are coming back for a certain number of days. You can have them be pre recorded, you can have them be live. There are so many ways that you can approach this and they can be of any price. What I love about workshops is a lot of people are kind of trying human design on and workshops give them a way to dip Their toe in the water of going deep one particular aspect. One particular aspect. So, you know, you can do a type workshop. You can do a type workshop where you’re just working with generators. 


You can do a type workshop where you’re working with all of the types. We just did a mini mastermind inside our Human Design Authority lab and we sold seats to it a la carte, you know, out to the world as well. We did a type mini mastermind and that was all types were welcome. But were just going to talk about type. That was sort of like this combination of like a workshop, mini mastermind thing. It was a workshop in the sense that were working one aspect, but we kind of changed up the format because I thought it would be more valuable the way that we did it. I have the freedom to do that. Every single month we create something new that we release to the public and that we give for free to our Human Design Authority lab members. 


They all, they get their monthly masterclasses with us. That’s part of their deal, that’s part of their membership. We’ve gotten creative with the way that we offer human design content. People are willing to pay for it. We have hundreds of people every single month buying stuff from us. That is powerful. Now. Is it automatic? No. You’ve got to go out there and you’ve got to tell people what you do. You have to go and market it. You do have to do that. But this is. You have something so specific to market, people will actually search for it and find you. That’s how so many people find us. They search for human design and they find me. They might come across my Instagram. 


But we have so many people that come through SEO and through this podcast and through YouTube, which is SEO, because people searched for the aspect of their human design and they got one of my videos and then they bought a masterclass or they bought a report. Because this is another thing that you can sell. There’s another like these pre created sort of PDFs or reports or courses. You can sell any of those. These are ways that this is kind of, I guess, eased into the fourth way. But the fourth way that you can make money with human design is passive. Passive products, courses, memberships. I wouldn’t necessarily consider passive because usually there’s stuff that you are actively creating in there. But we’ll put it in this category because it’s more of a teaching content, memberships, courses, reports, PDFs, guides. 


You can charge anywhere from 11 for these to. We’ve had guides that were $200 because they were so comprehensive and so specialized. So if you’re a projector or if you’re somebody who has a job and you’re looking to do this on the side where you really want to learn about yourself, you want to do this maybe for your family and you’re thinking, maybe I’ll do some things on the side. I feel like there was a wave of people, particularly women for a while where everybody got like their real estate license. I had my real estate license. I was a real estate broker years and years ago. But they got their real estate license and it’s like, oh, maybe I’ll do it on the side. But there’s actually a lot of work in that, in this. 


To be able to sell readings or sell workshops just amongst the people that are in your own personal community is really powerful. If you want to go online, you can take it online and you can sell these products and services and guides to the masses through social media. You can do all of this from home. You don’t have to go anywhere. But if you are an in person. I have. One of my former clients studied human design. She worked with me inside bbd. She ended up getting certified elsewhere because I didn’t offer a certification at the time. But she got certified. She’s been doing readings ever since. She does readings, she does workshops. She teams up with wellness centers in her area where she goes to yoga studios. And she’s a yoga teacher as well. 


So she teaches yoga and she might do like a human design yoga combined class. She’s teamed up with other people. There’s so many ways that you can do this. These are great for retreats as well. This wasn’t a formal number. Like there’s so many ways that you can make money with this. It’s. There’s way more than five. I picked, I picked five to just keep the number to something manageable that we could talk about quickly here on the show. But you can do retreats that are centered around human design. They can be mini retreats, they could be virtual retreats. They could be long days long retreats someplace exotic. And you can be teaching people this modality that will change their lives and charge them for it and have a beautiful time and make amazing memories. 


I have another client who worked with me, got certified by somebody else because I didn’t offer it at the time. She was. When she left bbd. I actually am going to reach out to her and check in with her. But she was about to launch her first retreat. She was going to host her first retreat, which is really exciting, where her half of it, she teamed up with somebody else to do it. And her half of it was the human design piece, which I thought was amazing. And this is how incredible this is. It can open up your world and it can open up your bank account. You can start to bring money in with something that is in so much demand, such high demand, and is so impactful for people. 


And then the last one that I wanted to bring up was number five. The fifth way that you can make money with human design is corporate trainings. So this is a way that you can make a higher dollar amount per your engagement. You can make thousands of dollars doing corporate trainings and speaking within corporations or training groups. I’ve done things in, like, spas and wellness centers, you know, med spas and things like that. I’ve gone in with teams. Certainly in the entrepreneurial world, there are a lot of teams that have brought me in to do team readings for them and to do TR on, you know, the basics of human design, to introduce it to their teams. But there’s also the bigger corporate world where you can go in and you can train teams within corporations. 


So if you have connections like that, then that is absolutely a path that you can pursue. Now, those can be much higher as far as the price goes. You know, you can charge five to $10,000 for a speaking engagement, which is pretty amazing if you can do that. Right? This is absolutely something that can be brought to the corporate world. How we talk about it in the corporate world may shift a little bit. When I go into a very corporate space. I use different terms. I break things down differently. I will speak about. I won’t talk about necessarily about energetics as much. I will talk about the way that people naturally are more productive ways that are translatable and transferable to the corporate environment so that it feels valuable for them, it feels accessible for them. 


And then if they want to go further, some people have gone and done readings or coaching with me outside of that because they’ve been intrigued. These are all the ways that you can make money. There are so many more, but these are some that just came literally off the top of my head as I prepared for this episode. I wanted to break it down for you because I think some people can take for granted how monetizable this skill set is and how in demand it is. People are looking for human design help. They are looking for somebody to help guide them. They are looking for somebody to break this system down for them, make it more accessible and help them get to the answers that they might even not know how to articulate what the question is. 


The amount of times I have people book a reading with me and my readings are over $500 and that is because one, they’re good. And two, I am at a point in my career where to book that one one time with me. It’s a premium because I don’t have the time. I’m very busy. I have a lot of things that I’m creating and I create them for one to many. So for the one to one stuff that is at a premium now. But I have people that come in, they buy those readings and when I ask them the questions of what they want to know, they don’t really know. They can’t tell me the question because what they’re seeking is something that opens up something in them. And there are a lot of people looking for this now. 


But there are going to be more, mark my words. As we get closer and closer to 2027, we are already there. People are asking these questions. People are feeling unstable. But as we get closer, that’s only going to get stronger. And they’re going to be looking for something that feels real, something that opens something up in them. Where they go, yes, that feels like truth. And that is what human design can offer them. And that’s how they, that’s why they find you. And that’s why they do pay. Because it’s worth it to them to unlock something that has been hidden, locked, or somehow out of reach for them. You have the ability to change that and you have the ability to change your own life by offering this. 


Going through the transformation yourself, the more you transform, the more valuable you are to other people. So this is just, I don’t know. For somebody like me who’s a personal development junkie and loves the inner workings, I am a Scorpio moon, Scorpio rising. So like the underworld of things of why, what makes us tick and how we operate as humans and how I operate as a human and how I can live, my potential to get to be paid to do that is the greatest gift. It is the greatest gift I think I have ever been given outside of my family. That’s how good it is. I get paid to do this. I pinch myself every day. I can’t believe I get paid to do this because it’s so fun. And I get paid to grow.
