Interior designer Krystal Reinhard, owner of Old Soul Decor Design Studio in Westchester, PA, knew she was holding herself back from reaching her full potential.
Despite having access to an incredible program designed to help interior designers scale their firms to over 6-figures per year, Krystal wasn’t implementing the strategies she learned. She was hesitating, self-sabotaging, and knew her money mindset issues stemming from childhood were holding her back.
Determined to get out of her own way, Krystal sought the help of mindset coach Nicole Laino.
“When I started working with Nicole, I thought there was like a magic equation she was gonna share in terms of what I was doing wrong, why I was blocking money, or having money issues,” Krystal shares. “I dove into one- on-one coaching, but I feel like ti was a 180 in terms of how it started to how it ended. We had to go back before we could go forward. The process was emotional and magical at the same time.”
The Process:
Nicole’s coaching process, called Decoding and Deconditioning, specializes in helping clients release the negative patterns they were born with or picked up throughout life. Using tools like Human Design, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), and NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming), she helps clients identify and clear behaviors that are keeping them from experiencing the success they are capable of. Conscious and unconscious behaviors like procrastination, playing small, people-pleasing, and perfectionism are where much of the work is focused.
For Krystal, one of the most transformative tools was EFT, not only for clearing her energetic block but also as a tool she can use for the rest of her life no matter what the situation. “That was huge because after that, whenever I was put in a position that would have triggered me again, I was in a whole different place and it didn’t affect me. Not to say that the discomfort completely went away, but I could at least recognize it and move forward versus it holding me back,” she explains.
The Results:
As Krystal did the inner work, her outer world began to change. Her personal relationships improved, including communication with her spouse. She felt happier overall. And the financial rewards started pouring in.
When Krystal started working with Nicole, her average design fee was $5k-$8k. She had 3 main goals: sign her first $50k design fee contract, uplevel her clientele to more affluent and results-driven individuals, and open her brick- and-mortar design studio.
Within a few months of coaching, Krystal signed her largest contract to date at $68,000.
Since then, she’s signed four out of four contracts within six months for >6-figures. “After all those baby steps, I was ready for that next big thing. wanted a $50,000 design fee contract, and ti didn’t even feel scary. When we first started working, I don’t even think I could have wrapped my head around that number,” Krystal shares.
Not only did Krystal exceed her income goals, but she also achieved her dream of opening her design studio, Old Soul Decor, which is thriving to this day. She’s attracting her ideal clients and they are eager to buy from her.
“I feel like moving forward I’m attracting and I’m vibrating at the frequency of people and relationships that are gonna help me grow,” Krystal says. “Im’ at the frequency where ti feels really great. The people around me are supportive. We’re all lifting each other up. And just, again, touching on the financials, I’ve made more money since working with you than Iprobably have in 7+ years.”

“Without the deconditioning work we did together, even if I’d had the process and procedures, I wouldn’t have known what to do with them because I would’ve still been self-sabotaging myself. I would not be where I am today and I tell that to everybody I’m associated with right now.”

Just figure out a way to do it. You will get it back because if you do the work, you’re gonna see the financial gains coming through the doors. You will get that return back.
