Hello and welcome to Unshakable with Human Design, everyone. I’m your host, Nicole Laino, and. And I want to talk today about money. So I was having a voxer conversation with one of my private clients. She’s actually someone who was in business by design, and then she joined my private container and were chatting and she asked me some questions about, you know, what’s really behind, like, the $30,000 months. Like, I can’t conceptualize how that could happen for me. So I broke it down in this, you know, really detailed message that I sent to her, or it was a couple of messages that I sent to her.
And I think when we talk about, you know, 30, 000 months, we always think that it’s going to be the funnels, the strategy, or, you know, some people will think that it’s very energetic. But usually in my experience, it’s both. It’s energy and it is strategy, and they are combined. But what I want to focus on here are actually, as I was going through it, I was like, these are sort of four main money shifts that changed my business forever. The they changed the way that I operate, they changed the way that I feel.
And at every level that I get to, I’m always revisiting these four things and questioning them, because I think, you know, especially when we talk about doing something like human design, where I think people look at this human design framework because it holds so much potential, it holds your potential, but your potential is only going to come out if you’re following your path through it. And I know in the beginning, the hardest part with anything like this, and I think business just falls into this category when we’re trying to do it in a way that we don’t fit the mold that the Russell Brinsons or, you know, the really successful strategic people. It hasn’t worked the way that it worked for them. It hasn’t worked for us.
So we’re looking to these other tools, but I think what happens is we find these energetic tools and then we try to get really rigid with them. Okay, so this happened. What do I do now? And I always find that the best way to train yourself to do anything is to train yourself to ask better questions. Of yourself, that if you can do that, then you can change anything in your life. And I’m going to show you these four shifts I want to share with you because I want to show you the energetic, the invisible work underneath the surface that’s behind every strategic decision, behind every success or every failure. This structure exists. This is my internal process.
So I wanted to share it with you as I was going through the message and just to give you a glimpse of, like, how I work and how human design, when it becomes something that you are living by versus something that you’re thinking about all the time, trying to get right. So I’m a manifesting generator. Response is how I’m meant to move through life, is through responding to things. My client sent me a message. I responded. I was, like, lighting up as I was talking to her. I was like, ooh, I want to talk about this. I had so much to say. I’ve got all this stuff that’s coming out. It’s so good. And. And she was like, that was amazing. Thank you. Now I’m like, oh, I gotta go record that. I didn’t hesitate. I didn’t wonder if it was perfect.
I didn’t worry about making it perfect, quite frankly. I took the transcript from my part of the messages and I put it into AI and I was like, can you break this down based on what I did? Break this down into a flow so that I can easily. Like an outline so that I can easily follow it. And it did. And I made my tweaks and I changed some things, but it was all things that I said. I made it easy. We had that conversation this morning. It is two o’ clock and I’m recording this now. If you’re a generator or a manifesting generator, you know, your sacral lights up, you go, I’m an emotional authority. I didn’t sit there, be like, let me think about it. Let me just sit, wait out my wave.
I don’t need to wait out my wave to record a podcast episode. I don’t. I can do that. That’s your own worry. That’s your own mental process. If you are stopping yourself, if you’re an emotional authority, be like, I gotta wait out my wave. You’re thinking about this stuff too much. You’re not following your response. Your response is like, I wanna talk about this. So here we go. So I’m not gonna explain any more. We’re gonna dive into these four pieces. But I am gonna say that we do have a really cool thing. It’s not another podcast that I’m doing. This is a separate thing.

We’ll also link it up in the show notes for you. So let’s dive into these four shifts. Okay. The first shift is it’s kind of like two parts. The first shift is you need to recognize and start to shift your money paradigm. And really just looking at your life and looking at the ways that you’ve made money before. And this ties to your money beliefs.

But there’s a way of looking at it to say, like, what structure has money followed? For me, were you a stay at home mom? Were you a and you had your husband who took care of you for years and years and now you’re trying to start a business and it’s not working. Your money paradigm is that money comes from my spouse. Maybe that might be part of your money paradigm. For me it was when I worked for myself, it was feast or famine. Cause I’ve been an entrepreneur throughout my whole life. I was a commercial real estate broker way back. I was an actor where I was always kind of, you know, doing odds and end things to make money. I had my CRM business. I’ve been doing this for a long time.
And then I took a break and I had a corporate shop for seven years. My money paradigm was as an entrepreneur, money comes, money goes. It has moments where I feel like it’s all gonna work out and then it all goes away. Great months and then, you know, months where I’m in complete and total survival mode. That was my truth. Only time I had consistency with my money was when I had a steady job, when I showed up to work on a schedule and, you know, big daddy corporate paid me. That was the only time in my life up now where money was something that, you know, felt stable and secure and like it would always show up because it was time for money. And that paradigm I got my head around and it worked.
Really well, for me, it just didn’t work for my life. So when we come into this business of making money, creating money is really what we’re doing. That money doesn’t just come from time, it doesn’t just come from effort. This is extra important for non sacrals because the minute you make it about time, you start to internally say, well, I can’t keep up, I can’t work all the time. So therefore, and now you’ve got a belief that’s holding you back now human design sort of messing with you because you’re like, oh, I’m a projector, I can’t work. I knew I couldn’t work before, but now I know that it’s not right for me. How is it ever going to better? How am I ever going to make this work? And the answer is that you have to shift the paradigm.
You have to shift your money paradigm so that you start believing that money can come to you in ways that are unexpected and through something other than a traditional structure, that you create money. That money can come from anywhere for any reason. And that is a very big process for a lot of us to go through. I had to do a lot of work behind that. I had to do so much work around, you know, that money could come to me in any way from anywhere and that I could be the source of that money without it having to do with how much time I spent someplace or whether I directly met somebody or whether I clocked in. That was sort of a shift that I had to break that paradigm in my mind and I had to shift it and create something new.
I had to create this new world where it was like, no, no, I create money with my energy, with my effort, with the things that I produce. We still have to make things. This is what I mean about it’s never just energy, but being in the energy of anything can happen at any time. All the best is working for me. Money is coming to me, getting into that and really believing it on a cellular level. So this is where all that money mindset work has to come in. You have to start destroying and clearing all of those beliefs, tying you to the other paradigms. Okay, so believing it is one thing. Actually embodying it is where the work comes in. That’s all the deconditioning work. That’s the work that I do with eft usually is the big tool that I use.
That’s what shifted so much for me. Feeling worthy of money, all of that. I’m worthy for money outside of how much work I do. All of that is shifting your money paradigm. Now, the second shift is really about. So you have to recognize what your money reality is. And then you need to become bigger than that money reality, than your money circumstances. And the tool for this that I use is visualizing. So. So visualizing a different money reality. So what visualization does, and I want to say that, you know, there’s no wrong way to visualize. I have a very specific process that I give to all of my clients. We have visualizations that we have recorded. We have a secret podcast just for my clients where they have those visualizations. Because this is the everyday work. I do this every single day.
I am committed to the energetic work as much as I’m committed to the strategic work. That’s what it takes to overcome the reality that’s in front of you, is you have to start changing the reality in your mind. And visualization, what that does is it trains your brain to expect solutions from beyond your circumstances. It trains your brain to see another possibility. Because you’ve probably heard that the brain doesn’t know the difference between a real or an imagined experience. It doesn’t know. What it knows is that unknown is scary. What it knows is what has happened before in the past. And it keeps replaying the past like a movie in your head. We need to play a new movie and you get to choose. And that’s what visualization does. And like I said, I have a very specific process that I take people to.
It’s like a three step process. I had a two step. I have different visualizations for different types of problems. But this is the stuff that shifts your whole world. And like I said, I do this every day. I don’t do it once in a while. And when I’m really working on something and I want to shift something, I visualize that same thing every single day until it’s in front of me and it’s my life. And if it gets boring, I can shift it a little bit to make it more exciting. Sometimes the visualization itself changes. But the result where I’m going, what I’m taking myself to, the reality that I want to create stays the same. Why? Because that’s a commitment that you’re making.
And there was a time where there have been periods where I have like, you know, quote unquote, been too busy to visualize. Like, I’ve gotten up, I’ve been uncomfortable and, you know, just chosen not to do it. And I’ve had to check myself on that because I’ve said, huh, that’s interesting. So I haven’t been visualizing. Like I noticed that things aren’t happening. And I’m like, I haven’t been visualizing. And I’ll ask myself why. Oh, I haven’t had time, I’ve been busy, I’ve been tired, I haven’t woken up as early. All of these excuses. And then I’ve had to face myself and have that conversation with myself to say, oh, well, you either don’t believe that it really does something or you’re sabotaging yourself. Because the visualizations that I’ve recorded, they’re like seven minutes long.
There is no reason that I can’t find seven minutes in my day to change my life. I’m either self sabotaging or I don’t really believe that it will work. And I’ve seen it work. And that’s how I get myself back on track, right? And that is a commitment that I’ve made to myself. And my life changes when I’m doing that. So that is the second piece. And most people get stuck because they think that’s the only piece. So you might be saying, I’m visualizing already, but did you do the shifting of your money paradigm? Have you really gone into your beliefs and the way that you believe money functions in your life? Have you done that? If you haven’t, then visualizing isn’t enough. We have to clear and then we visualize. And I do these things simultaneously.
Like I do clearing and I do visualizing on the same day. I don’t not have time for that. So that’s what it takes. And you have to go beyond just that visualization. It has to be more. And I’ll explain what that means. So the third shift that we have is we have a little bit of strategy here. This is like an energetic shift, but it’s the energy that leads to the strategic shift. I think that this is sort of a very like masculine meets feminine moment with this shift. And that’s why I love it. Because I’m not just going into hardcore strategy mode, but I’m allowing my visualizations and I’m allowing this world that I want to create for myself, this new world with money, to help me ask better questions.
And the question that I had to ask myself a long time ago when I started doing this work is, okay, I have this vision. Is my current world the way I have it set up my business, able to deliver on this new vision? Meaning, do I have things set up so that this can actually happen. And a very simple example of this is I asked myself, I’m like, well, if I want to make money while I sleep, I had this visualization. Like, I wake up every morning and there’s stripe notifications. Like, oh, I’m so excited. And I’m like, well, can people do that at that point? At that time, I didn’t get this whole thing. I didn’t get these four parts. I was still figuring all of this out.
I had taken a lot of programs and done a lot of things, but I hadn’t figured out this energy strategy game and how it all came together. So I was still piecing this together. I was still a bit of a mess when I started to do this. But this is how I changed everything. I was like, well, no, I really don’t have, like, funnels built or anything. And I look at them, I call them money pathways. I didn’t call them funnels at the time. Well, are there pathways for people to buy from me anytime? I want to make money all the time. I want it to feel easy. I want to feel like there’s flow. Okay. I want money to come to me unexpectedly. Okay, well, do I have ways for that to happen currently? And the answer was not really. I launched.
If I launched, I made money. If I didn’t launch, I didn’t make money. And then that put a lot of pressure on every launch. Every launch was do or die. Every launch was like, oh, my God, this has got to be a good one, because I don’t know. And I hadn’t got into, like, real launch cycling at that time. It was hard. Sometimes I would launch, and then I would be so burnt out that I couldn’t launch again for a while. And I hadn’t gotten in my groove. Things still felt really difficult. But the truth was, I didn’t sell in between launches. My launches were big enough, and I could get enough people there, and I could scrap together a year and make like, you know, I was just under six figures, and then I hit six figures and all of that.
But I might have one launch that carried me the whole year, and then I didn’t sell at all outside of any other launches. So if I wanted to make money anytime, that would be hard because I only made money when I was actively selling things. So my current reality, if I looked at it, I’d say, yeah, I’m not really set up for that to happen. How could I do that? So I started to. And this is where the podcast came in and became like, this Big thing. It was like, okay, well, then I gotta be on social media. And all of these ways I didn’t like and didn’t feel good to me. So instead it was like, what would feel good? And that’s how I started to build money pathways off this show. I CTA’d the secret podcast.
I have all of this stuff in these episodes where I’m driving traffic to doorways, where there’s a pathway behind that door of a potential for somebody to buy something. I’ve created that, and now that I’ve created them. So it started out with creating that and starting those pathways. Then, you know, it becomes driving traffic to those pathways, and then it becomes, how do we make those pathways more efficient? How do we get more out of them? How do we build more that are more successful? The questions you start asking start to lead straight to money, as opposed to when I first started this, where it was like, okay, I’m starting to get how this all works. But it started with recognizing that I didn’t have my reality and my systems set up in a way that supported my vision.
I wasn’t meeting the universe halfway. I was expecting the universe to do all the work. And if you’re expecting the universe to do all the work, you might get moments, but you’ll never feel safe, secure, and held. This is where I always say that the masculine energy is what the feminine can lean back into. It is the trust fall into the masculine arms waiting to hold you from behind to catch you. Those pathways that I built, these systems that I’ve built, these things that I do support my ability to go, I don’t worry anymore. I can relax into feminine flow. I can believe that money’s coming to me all the time. I can get into that energy. Why? Because my logical brain is like, yeah, we’ve built that stuff. We can do that. And you have to start somewhere.
I’m not telling you that you have to grow to the level that I have at this point, right away. But you have to start looking at your world and say, like, if you want to make money, passively, but every dollar that you make and you’re a projector comes from time that you spend with people. And you’re burned out and you are afraid that you can’t make more money because you’re already tapped out. Well, you need to change your reality and structurally change some things so that it supports the vision that you have, which is one where you have more time, more freedom, and you’re making more money. Strategically, we have to change Things. But the vision is what tells us what to change. What do you want? Okay, well, what do we have to build to support that?
And then you do the energetic work the whole time while you are building the strategic stuff, because the energy will support it. But the energy alone isn’t enough and the strategy isn’t alone enough on its own. And I understand that these are kind of like bigger things. But now the fourth shift is, I call it really understanding your money state. And this is a moment to moment thing. This is something that I’m always focused on. I’m always thinking, I’m always aware of. Not in a way similar like the way that I described human design at the beginning. Not in a way where I’m worrying about it or I’m wondering if I’m getting it right, or none of that.
I’m just conscious enough of am I in the energy of what I want or am I in the energy of what I don’t want when it comes to money? So most people, they might get worried about money, where bills are coming in, or like I had recently, because I’ve leveled up with money over the last year and I’ve been spending a lot this summer. I talked about that on the show. I’ve been spending a lot this summer, more than I normally do. Like, we took vacations and we bought a car. There’s all these things that have come up, expenses that have come up, some of them unexpected. We didn’t know were gonna buy a new car. We were happy with ours, but then it needed a lot of repairs.
And I was like, there’s no way I’m putting that amount of money into this car. Let’s just get a new one. And these are all things that I’m paying for in my house. The vacations and all of this stuff. I’m paying for them. We’re doing a rebrand on the business, so I’m paying for that. Like, there’s other things. Money is going out and I’m fine with it. But there have been. I’m aware that energetically it has been stretchy for me to feel good spending that money and not feel like it’s irresponsible or like it’s not going to come back. So what most people do when they get worried about money is they go into action around that worry. Oh my God. I’m worried about, what am I going to do? What am I going to do? What can I sell? What can I do?
You’re still in the energy of worry. You’re in Lack. You are acting on lack. And usually we don’t get the results that we want. It’s a very 3D way to look at how we make money. Oh my God, what am I gonna do? The one thing we can always do is shift our energy. So what I do in those moments is I feel supported by money. I shift my energy. I recognize I’m in the opposite energy that I want to be about money. I don’t wanna be in fear about money. I don’t wanna be in worry about money. I don’t wanna be energy when it comes to money. So it becomes my job in that moment to shift into a state of gratitude, state of abundance around money. It’s all coming back to me. My money is coming back to me.
That money is doing good in the world. That money is buying somebody food. That money is paying somebody’s salary. And I know you’ve heard this probably from money mindset people before, but it does shift your energy. Say those things out loud. Say money’s going out. I’m so scared about money. Money is hard. What if it doesn’t come back? Feel how that feels in your body. And now say, that’s going to help somebody’s kids buy books for school that is going to pay somebody’s salary who desperately needs it. That money is coming back to me in some way. And you see it coming back to you. Feel how that feels in your body. And you tell me that there isn’t a difference. You tell me that this is bullshit because it’s not. You feel it in your body.
And now the game becomes being so in tune with it that you can feel that right away. That you can feel that before it gets to a point where that worry energy starts to create real circumstances in your life that you don’t like. I rarely have. So this is what happens. Like the example, you know, somebody cancels or doesn’t renew or something like that. I know that those things happen and we’re fortunate. A lot of people renew. I mean, I even have like the client I started this whole call about, she was in BBD and she didn’t renew when her year was up. And I was sad. Cause I really love working with her. But I didn’t worry about where the next client would come from. I didn’t shift into that.
I don’t give space to those feelings unless I need to tap them out because they’re overwhelming, that they’re real. I just don’t give energy to that. I just say, I’m like, we’ve had a beautiful relationship. I’m so grateful. I’m so excited for her. I hope we do something together again. And that puts me in just this energy of abundance. Someone else is going to come and fill that spot. You know what? In fact, maybe two people will. And then, you know what? Just a few months later, she’s back and she’s working with me as a private client. Now we get to have this different relationship. And it’s so exciting and it’s so rewarding and it’s so beautiful. And I really do attribute that to the fact that I don’t get caught up. And I can’t say I never do.
I do sometimes and I have to do the work, but I recognize and I prioritize it because I know how important this work is. And even like the money that I’m spending now, the investments that I’m making in my business, I have to energetically connect with that and say that making decisions as the person I’m becoming is good. That is what I need to be doing to get to the next level, to get to the 50k months are these type of aligned decisions that I’m making. So I hope that this helped and this is the energetic side. But I do want you also to remember that the strategy is a huge part of this. Like this energetic flow can only come, like I said, in the third shift, that I can’t lean comfortably and confidently back if I’m afraid that I’ll fall.
And it’s the structure, it’s the masculine structure and the strategy that we set up. I’m so confident in my message. I’m so confident in my podcast. I’m so confident in these things that I built that I can lean back and lean back hard and know that those systems are there to catch me.
