Okay. So I have been preparing for the Authority Accelerator Masterclass and I’ve been talking to all of these people and of course I’m doing my regular coaching calls with my clients. Inside Business by Design. We had our Align Brand Builder call as well this last week, which was about. That’s the lower tier of business by design for people who are just starting out. They’re really not sure and they’re not ready to take the big plunge into the high ticket piece. We have that call once a month. So I have been really absorbing a lot. And what was coming through for me was this concept of energetic authority, really owning energetic authority. And a lot of the questions that I was getting were from people who have really, you know, extensive careers. You know, they’ve been doing this for a long time. 

They have an expertise, they have glowing testimonials. They know they’re good at what they do. But for some reason they still feel like the world’s best kept secret. They feel like the more qualified they become, kind of the more invisible they become. They’re not necessarily, they’ve got big dreams. Some people haven’t been in business as long and they’re starting out, but they’re still kind of hiding. They put something out there and they’re waiting for the feedback and they don’t get the feedback that they want. And then that kind of quiets them down again. And this is really huge. And that’s really what I want to talk to you about in this episode. I want to break down for you why energetic authority is so important and how human design specifically can help you get there. But we’re going to talk about. 

I never look at human design as just human design. It’s never just the chart. There’s always you plus the chart and then there’s always the deconditioning that goes along with it. So it isn’t necessarily about like, oh, and energetic authority comes from Gate seven because that’s about leadership. Of course, that’s a gate of leadership and that’s the truth. And there’s lots of leadership energy in the chart. There are so many nuances and insights in the chart. It’s this magnificent, ever overflowing, just container of insight into ourselves and into all of these themes. Money, wealth, working hard, willpower. All of these things are in the Chart. But the deconditioning is what gets us there. The chart is really showing us how we become a grounded human and what that looks like for us. 

How do we get to be a shining, bright light that is all the colors and shades that we are meant to be, while also having our roots so deeply dug into the ground that we are unshakable? That comes from deconditioning. That comes from nervous system work. That comes from all of this other stuff that I teach. So we’re going to kind of. I’m going to give you a little cocktail of all of this because, you know, my thing, it’s never just one thing. There’s never just the one thing. You know, I’ve seen some people selling things, you know, like, oh, well, and I put them up, too, like, on Instagram and stuff. I’ll have a post on, like, your money profile. There’s so much more to it than just what I can fit into an Instagram carousel. It’s. 

If it were that easy, we’d all be fixed by now. We would be all wonderfully in alignment and just. You wouldn’t need my show. You’d be like, no, I got this, got the post, saved it, you know, but it’s not enough. That isn’t the whole picture. It’s a piece. It’s a piece of the puzzle. So I want to break down in this episode for you know, what does it mean to have energetic authority? How can we use human design to get it? What else is required? And why is this really so important? What’s the difference between just having an expertise and credentials and certifications and having energetic authority? This is the difference between. You might see people where you look at them and you’re like, they don’t have the certifications I have. They don’t have the qualifications I have. 

They don’t have the testimonials I have. But people love them, and they are good at what they do. They just do it differently. And you might be thinking, I’m better at what I do than they are. Why are they so much more successful? And quite frankly, because of energetic authority, because they own it. They own who they are. They own where they’re going, they own where they’ve been. And usually a lot of those people who are showing up and they are so magnetic. Word that we love to use, they’re so magnetic because they have done a lot of that deconditioning work. They might have called it something different. They might have worked a lot on their shame and their pain and Their fear. 

And they are actively dealing with all of that and clearing it and slaying it and breaking it and transforming it and transmuting it every single day. This is where the energetic game outplays the strategy game for sure in the world of confidence. The world of confidence. But they go hand in hand. You do need to have an expertise you still need. And I don’t. I’m not saying that you need formal expertise. I’m not saying that you need to have 12 certifications. Although a lot of the people who come to me do. Because a lot of the people that come to me have the certifications, have the all the criteria that we’re looking for. They have the credibility as far as on paper. But energetically is where they have problems. 

And then what happens with these people a lot of times is they go and they look. And this is one of the biggest problems I see with business and just entrepreneurs having. One of the biggest problems I see entrepreneurs having. And what’s keeping them from hitting that six and multiple six figure mark is that they keep getting their wires crossed. They keep looking for the wrong tool for the problem. So they look for a strategic tool for a spiritual problem or an emotional nervous system problem. And they’re looking for or they’re looking for a spiritual tool for a strategic problem. This is why the integration of spirituality, energetic work and strategy is so important. So you’re grabbing the right tool at the right time for the right thing. That’s how you get what you want. That’s how you change your life. 

I’m in the moment right now where I’m like, I feel like there have been years in my career, I’ve been doing this a long time now, like nine years. There have been times I’ve needed strategy and it’s like I really need to up my strategy game right now. And I might go and seek out some of those resources. And then there are other times where I’m like, I really feel like it’s energy that I need. I need an energetic up level because that’s where I look at it. And I’m like, my expertise is shining. I know what I’m doing. I’ve got the strategy down. But now I feel like I need my next level. And I’ll clue you in on this as well. The higher up you go, the more money you’re making, the more successful you become. 

The energy game becomes almost the thing. Like that’s what you’re going to be looking for most of the time. And it’ll only be when you’re really starting something new. So if you’re starting a new business venture, if you’re starting a new program or a new product or something like that, then there might be strategic stuff that you need to learn. There’s still gonna be an energetic element to it too, though. But in that middle tier, the lower, where you’re getting started and you’re getting to that first six figures especially, this is gonna be a balance of strategy and energy and building both of those things at the same time. Because you’re going to have to lay the strategic foundations, but you’re also going to have to get into a practice of showing up in big, big, energetically. 

And, you know, I had someone say on a call with me this week, she was like, I’m really good at what I do, and I know other people are really good at what they do that do the same thing, but nobody does it like me. But she’s still feeling like the best kept secret. People don’t know. The reason isn’t because she’s gotta go and get a new certification or slap some letters at the end of her name to prove that she’s good enough. She needs to show up. She needs to show up. Like, nobody does it like I do. One of my mentors said to me years ago and was one of my first mentors, he said to me, he was like, nicole, you’re amazing. And I was like, I might have been like 23 at time, 22, I was really young. 

And he said, nicole, you’re amazing. You really are. You’re really smart, you’re so with it. You’re super resourceful, you’ve got it going on. You’re great. He’s like, but I’m going to tell you something that my brother told me. And my mentor was very successful, but his brother was like, stupid successful. His brother was CEO of like a really major corporation. So it was like one of those things where he’s successful, but he would knew he would never be successful as his older brother. And he said, you know, I’m going to tell you what my brother told me. You could be the best in the world, but it doesn’t matter unless you show the world. That’s energetic authority. It’s not just showing up. It’s showing up with such certainty in yourself. 

Not that you got it all right, not that you are never going to mess up, not that you never have messed up, but showing up as such a full expression of yourself. So why do people not show up in energetic authority? Why are so many people feeling like the best kept secret. Why are they suffering from this best kept secret syndrome, Right? Why is this happening? Because it sounds easy, right? I know I’m good at this. So sure, I can show people how good I am at this. I’ll do it on social media, I’ll start a podcast. These things are very triggering for people. This is why we start businesses, because we’re like, I could do this. I’m really good. I’m going to go out there, I’m going to put myself out there and I’m going to make a million dollars, right? 

And then some people do, but most don’t. And this is the big differentiator in that equation is the reason why this isn’t happening for them is because a lot of times they are not in a full expression of themselves. They have not regulated, they have not deconditioned. They’ve still got old stuff swimming around and that is shame, fear. They have shame about maybe investing money in themselves in the past and not getting the quote unquote ROI on that. I’ve got news for you. Most entrepreneurs will tell you that the first couple of years probably of their business, they didn’t get the ROI that they thought they would off of the programs and investments and things that they made. Most will tell you that. Here’s the interesting thing about that. And I’ll tell you, that was my story. 

I reinvested and reinvested to where I took very little home and some years where I was in the red with my business and my husband carried the whole household. I had the luxury of that and I will admit that. But here’s the thing about those investments. Some of them were legitimately poor choices. Some of those were legitimately me making decisions from my lack, getting sucked into other people’s marketing and not showing up for myself. But here’s the thing about that. I think I needed that experience to show myself what showing up looked like. Triggers are gifts. Our struggles show us where we have work to do if we really want the thing that we’re going after. So for me, I learned nervous system regulation. I learned human design. Human design gave me the map to help me understand what was actually wrong with me. 

Like where I had to suck it up and go and where did I have to really clean out, what did I have to deal with? It got me to see my. Because I had a really bad habit of seeing only my faults. Very, very hard on myself. I always said that, you know, no one will ever Be harder on me than me. And I didn’t really like myself. Deep down, there was a part of me that felt deep shame. And I carried that into every interaction. I carried it into every action that I took. And when I started out was bigger than me. And human design helped me understand how I operated, where these things hid, what was really keeping me from finding my own grounding. Because when you’re ungrounded, you make bad decisions. 

When you’re ungrounded, you will spend so much of your life and time and energy trying to find your footing that you don’t get a whole lot else done. Or if you do, it doesn’t feel very good. So you have this, like, stopping and starting and burning out, and then like having big sprints of activity and then collapsing, and it’s just not sustainable. You can’t do that for very long without really questioning yourself or outright cracking. Generators, manifesting generators. We have the capacity to really run our bodies into the ground if we want to. If we’re determined enough, because we do have the energy, what we’ll usually lack is the desire anymore, and our life starts to feel like blah. But projectors, manifesters, reflectors, they might actually physically crack because it’s just so debilitating. 

They don’t have the energy to spare, you know, and it drains them more. They do something that feels terrible and that’s way more draining on them. I can mask it a lot easier. I’ve got three motors. I’ve got some energy to spare, right? So all of this, the being ungrounded just creates this scattered energy, and that’s what you bring into your interactions. And that’s why your sales are low, and that’s why you take frantic action and feel like you’re doing everything, but nothing’s really working. But when you can come back home to yourself, when you come back home to yourself, then you actually can teach people what you’ve integrated. So many people are going out there, they’re trying to sell from their centers. They’re looking into human design. I posted some really cool stuff about a week or so ago on Instagram. 

I did a post at some carousels on defined centers and your superpowers, your undefined centers and your wisdom, like, where selling from centers really comes from. I did the whole, like, carousel on both of these, and again, I put a lot of information in there, but it’s not everything. But people really loved them and people get very excited about them and they got lots of saves and shares and all of this stuff, which is great. But the big caveat in all of that is you can’t teach what you haven’t integrated. You can’t sell a gift until you’ve embodied the gift that is energetic authority. 

When I show up, I get really great feedback that I am so grateful for from people who I had a few people this week tell me, you know, how much this show has touched them, how much it’s had an impact on them. I quite honestly was very humbled by the compliments and really touched and so grateful that they shared that with me. And I really do believe that the reason for that I’m able to have the impact that I have on my clients and on people I’ve never met. Five one, by the way, I’ve never met them. Of course, that’s the people that I have the greatest impact on. But these people that I had the impact, the reason that I had an impact on them the way that I did is I’m really sharing what I’ve embodied. 

I show up as the best version of myself that exists today. And every day I am working to be more in alignment with that version of myself. I’m more in alignment with that version of myself, the best version of myself, the one. And I’m always looking at my chart. I’m always understanding how can I step into this bigger. I ask better questions of myself, ones that call me higher, and I do the work to actually get there. I’m not sitting and waiting. I invest when I feel called to, when I really feel like, okay, this next level, I don’t know exactly what to do and I don’t know how to get into that energy or I don’t know how to perform that strategy. I’m going to go get help. I don’t desire to figure things out on my own anymore. 

And I have confidence that I will show up for myself. This is a magnetic shift. This is how you go from the please choose me desperate energy that you might be in to. This is what I offer. I don’t bring desperate energy into the process because I don’t. I’m not available for it. I know I’ve got me. I know I’m okay. I know I’m divinely supported. And I know while I’m a work in progress, I am also the best version of me that I can be right now. People sense that this is how we hold space for the higher level clients that we want to call in. 

The higher level client you want, the more important your energy is going to because people are feeling into your energy, they’re feeling into your certainty. That’s what people buy. They buy your certainty that you will be who you are, that you can hold space for them, that you can hold a vision for them, that you will deliver on what you promise. There are a lot of people that are losing sales because they’re showing up in shaky, desperate energy and they’re so good at what they do. But because they bring this energy of uncertainty and shakiness in who they are, people question their expertise, but their expertise isn’t in question. Their expertise is excellent. But for some reason people are choosing other people that are less qualified, expertise wise, but they hold the energy better, so they’re getting the sale. 

And that person that is so qualified, so amazing. Nobody does it like she does it, but she’s not showing the world that. She’s not showing them through her energetic authority. She isn’t owning it.
