Hello and welcome to Unshakable with Human Design. I’m your host, Nicole Leno, and it’s just the two of us today. And I want to talk about change. I want to talk about the big shift that we are all a part of right now. So much is changing in the industry, so much is changing in the world, so much is changing in media, both social and more mass media. Things are changing.

We need to have a conversation about it. Because who people listen to is changing and there are a few people, not nearly enough, filling the space. So there is kind of this moment that’s happening right now. And there’s only a certain window of opportunity here to step up and be somebody who chooses to fill it.

And every conscious entrepreneur has to I guess reckon with something right now. So I want to start by talking about the Macklemore thing. Now, I’m not talking about the politics of it. I’m not talking about the actual message. I want to talk about what is happening here.

The reason I want to table the political conversation is because I don’t want to lose the point of what I want to make here. The system that we are all so used to, the system of corporations, of billionaires, of these systems that we have just accepted as being powerful, accepted as being bigger than us, right?

They could take people down in the past. And I mean they can still do that now to a certain extent, but what we are seeing here is now the system being unable to break individuals the way that it used to. Now, the reason for that is because the individual has its own power now, more so than before. In the nineteen fifties, it wasn’t an individual that could change things. It had to be a very special individual.

Martin Luther King could change lots of people, but he also organized. That was his job. He chose to do that. He led a movement. There weren’t a lot of people who could do that back then. But now, the opportunity to lead a movement, to change things, to change people’s perception, to change what people believe in is much easier to come by. It is much more up for grabs.

For regular people who have something to say that people feel is true and right.

What McLamore managed to do was take somebody like Ed Sheeran, who’s a complete darling, practically universally loved, very well connected, and somebody like Robert Kraft, who is very well connected, super duper rich, seemingly very powerful. And he kind of exposed a lot of things. They thought they were just going to get rid of him.

And instead, people are looking at how Robert Kraft is in the Epstein files, and people are abandoning ship all around Ed Sheeran. Now it doesn’t have to be political, your movement. But what I think is very interesting that’s happening here is that we are seeing that the way that they try to divide us and the way that they try to suppress voices is not as effective.

Now, individuals have individual power. Individuals expressing their personal power.

Have an outsized effect on others. It made other people want to do it. It wasn’t just that McLamore got a bunch of support and a bunch of like cheers on Instagram and X. No. Other acts dropped out. All of them, including the backing band. There are people publicly, you know, denouncing Ed Sheeran in this choice.

There are people standing up for freedom of speech. There are people that probably wouldn’t be talking about Palestine who are talking about Palestine right now. There’s a lot that’s happening, and I think it’s very indicative of this moment that we’re in. This moment of right before we are about to change from a cross-of-planning world that was built on bargains and systems. Remember the bargain?

Remember, it’s all about the bargain. It’s all about I’ve got to deal with you, you’ve got to deal with me. Okay, well, we’re all good. Well, we’re breaking bargains now. Now suddenly those deals, the deals between us and the system, the deals between two powerful people, don’t outweigh what the rest of us feel, or what the rest of us need, or what the rest of us are standing up for.

It’s a really interesting time because remember what the keynotes are for the cross of the sleeping phoenix. It is self-expression, authenticity, and abundance as a spiritual state, your frequency. It’s about a cosmic connection now, not a material one. So that’s kind of the shape that I want to give this episode.

Because I want to talk about what this means for you as a conscious entrepreneur, as somebody who maybe feels that they have a voice. And maybe you have felt like there hasn’t been space for your voice. Maybe it felt like when you put things out there, it was drowned out by all the other shallower voices or people that had a more snappy message or the right hook.

And all of that crap. And then maybe you pulled back. And that can cause a lot of people to dip their toe in the water, decide that the water doesn’t feel super hospitable, and then they take their foot out and they never bother to see if they could acclimate to that water. But the water’s changing. It’s different water now. It’s changing so, so much.

This is the time for the deep ones. If you’re somebody who felt like your message was too deep for Instagram or too deep for the world, maybe, maybe it was a little too out there, maybe you wanted to have bigger conversations than the world seemed ready to hold. It’s your time now. That window of being an early adopter, so to speak, of this is.

Now.

But you have to choose. You don’t just become a leader in the new paradigm, a new era leader by default. It doesn’t work like that. You have to choose. You have to choose to show up. You have to choose to do it scared. You have to choose to say the thing that you are not sure how it will be received. You have to choose not to play it safe.

You have to choose to bet on yourself.

You have to choose you. This is a really big word getting thrown around out there. I’ve seen it on social media a bunch of times. I’ve seen programs of people naming it. Chosen. And a lot of times it has to do with, you know, we want other people to choose us. We want other people to pick us. And I want you to recognize what energy that has. You know, pick me energy is not cool.

We don’t get chosen because we want other people to choose us. We get chosen because we choose ourselves first. We choose to say that I have something to say, that it deserves to be followed, that it deserves to be heard, I deserve to be paid. All of that stuff comes from you first. And if you are a projector and you’re not getting chosen, then that is your whole lesson.

That I’ll tell you right now, that’s why you are not getting chosen. You are not choosing yourself. You have not decided that you are the greatest thing. You have not decided that your message is really important and people should listen. That conviction isn’t there.

Now, as many of you will know if you listen to this show, that your incarnation crosses your purpose theme in this life. And we all get one. We all get a purpose. And by living our design, we get to live out that purpose. But your purpose is not for you.

Your purpose is for the rest of us. Your purpose is for the collective. It is your contribution to the collective consciousness. And we are going into a world where it isn’t about individual material gain anymore. It’s about collective consciousness. It’s about the energetic frequency that we are all contributing to this world.

This is a time of tremendous change, and it’s what so many of us said we wanted. We wanted a world where the conversation wasn’t quite so shallow. We wanted depth to be rewarded. Well, here we are. It’s here, but it will not come to your doorstep and beg you to come outside. You have to meet it with your energy and your action.

And I’m not saying it will be easy. I’m not saying that it will all be smooth sailing.

But we have to meet the universe halfway, and we have to trust that when we walk in alignment, because that’s ultimately what human design is teaching us. And I think it’s a great time to actually surrender to your design because it’s just an easier way to do it. And because we are going to this more energetic place, we can put aside some of the things that didn’t feel so good or got in the way of us following our design before.

But we have to meet the universe halfway. We have to step into the arena and send a signal that we are claiming our space. We have to do that.

some of you I know will maybe say, well, I don’t really know exactly what my message is, or I know there’s something in me, but it’s kind of messy. You will never figure it out thinking about it. You will never figure it out thinking about it. You will never have the courage to do it if you wait until it’s perfect, because it will never be perfect.

And you are not doing anyone any favors by staying quiet. The world cannot change without individuals daring to lead us through this change. If you don’t take up the space, someone else will. And there are enough people right now. I want you to understand this. People are so used to.

the shallow message. They are so used to the old way that they will continue to buy that crap or they’ll kind of tap out of the whole game. Unless somebody else offers them an alternative. They are looking. They need this. They need leaders that are going to take them someplace that we are actually going.

Not lead them back into where we’re leaving.

But if you don’t step up, if I don’t step up, if all of us don’t step up, then people will pay them instead of us. They will pay them instead of paying you. And that sucks. That sucks for the collective, because the collective is not changing and transforming the way that it needs to. And it sucks for you because you’re not getting paid and you’re wondering why.

This change requires leadership.

And now is the time to ask yourself, what am I waiting for?

If I’ve been asking for these changes, if I’ve been asking for this shift, if I have been waiting to shape my message, maybe you need help doing that. Maybe you need to get out of your own way so that you can be the person you have been waiting for, that so many others are waiting for as well.

We don’t get to sit on the sidelines. Those of us who feel cosmically connected to all of this stuff, if you’re into human design and you have been, feeling these changes, if you’re looking at the outside world and you’re like, holy shit, I see the phoenix all over the place. I see the burning, I see the rising from the ashes, I see the waking up, I see it, I feel it, I know I’m a part of this, then that is the call.

If it feels like it’s impossible to like sit on the sidelines, but you’re still scared, join the club.

So many of us, whenever we get called to the new level for us, right? I’m there. There is a new level I am being called to. And I signed up for a very expensive mastermind that is going to teach me nothing except it will hold me accountable to the potential that I see in myself. It will keep me accountable.

From sitting back on my heels and saying, tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow, I’ll get to it tomorrow. I’ll say it tomorrow.

Because one, it’s too expensive for me to back out of. It’s too expensive for me to waste. I put down that kind of money. You put down five figures. High five figures. And you don’t say it’s an option for me to just not get my investment out of this. No, I signed up for transformation. I signed up for change. I signed up for my next level. And it’s not her job to give it to me.

It’s mine. It’s my job to show up for it. Because I’m at the point I don’t need more strategy at this point in my business. I need somebody to talk to me about my business and help me work through my stuff. But I don’t need somebody to teach me a whole funnel strategy. I I have enough of that. I know what I need. I need to step up.

I need to not pedal backwards if it gets scary. I need to make this stuff not feel so difficult, doing the next level of where I’m going. What do you need? Most entrepreneurs at this level, what they need is, and a lot of them have invested in a lot of stuff. So they know what they don’t need, and then that gets them confused.

Because they’re like, I don’t want another program like this. And I don’t want another program where nobody knows my name. And I don’t want another program where they do four-hour hot seats and I don’t know when I’m gonna go or if I’m going to get chosen. I know I don’t want to be on Instagram. What they really need is somebody to hold them accountable to their goals. They need somebody who actually sees their business, knows their business, is inside their business.

can give them the tools that they need when they need them, not just load them up like they’re going to school, but treat them like a grown-up, get them moving and formulate a message around the mission that they have. So every day it feels like they’re living their purpose and they’re walking one step closer to it. And to build the sales system so that they can actually monetize it.

This is why I built business by design. This is exactly how I’ve built it. Because I know what moves the needle for people. So many entrepreneurs will step into the group and they’ll tell me that they have a strategic problem. They need to work on their launch or they need to do this. And I find out, no, it’s actually an energetic problem and they’re in their own way. And then we can get back to the strategy after we move that and we can do it really quickly on our calls.

And sometimes they come in there telling me they have an abundance block or a money block or something like that. And then I poke around a little bit and I ask some questions. I’m like, actually you have a strategic problem.

Either way, it’s very difficult to read the label from inside the bottle.

And so many entrepreneurs are so used to a coach that doesn’t bother to read the label, to know them, to see them, to really work with them, that they think that every single group is like that. That’s not what our group is like. So doors to business by design are open. It is for these new era leaders. That’s what we are training for. The new era leaders who also need to get paid.

And should not be ashamed to get paid. You can lead and get compensated for the work that you do and for the energy that you are putting out into the world. There is nothing spiritual or noble about being broke.

And if you use the not charging thing as an excuse for not putting yourself out there or not taking care of yourself, then that is something you need to work on. That is a block that you have. It’s a story you’re telling yourself that is not serving anyone. Because it’s keeping you in survival mode and it’s messing with your ability to show up at your full potential.
