Hello and welcome to Unshakeable with Human Design, everybody. I’m your host, Nicole Lano, and we’re here with a forecast today. This is the rave new year. Happy new year, everybody. So human design actually has a different new year than our regular new year. So obviously we know there’s Chinese new year.

There’s like the lunar new year. Well, human design, it’s when the human design wheel starts our start codon, so to speak, when gate 41. The sun comes into gate 41, that is when we have our rave new year. And we can get a forecast for the year, we can get kind of an idea of what the weather will be like for the year.

What are the themes going to be like for this year? What’s the imprint? Basically, cosmically, that the collective has for the year. And we can get that from this moment, this snapshot, just like a baby being born. Uh, we take that snapshot, and we look at the Rave New Year’s chart, and we can kind of get a sense of what’s to come.

Now, I always preface these episodes with what I really want you to take from this. If you listen to our transit episodes every month where we go through the sun signs and we talk about the astrology with Christina Luna. If you listen to those episodes, you know Christina and I are always talking about this is not like wildly predictive stuff to make you feel like well this is going to happen, I should be scared, what do I do about this?

They are lessons that we’re all going to be here to learn. And I want to say that this is collective. This is going to be what we’re all experiencing. If you want something that is more personal, then that would be more like a cycle analysis, your solar return analysis, which we can do kind of the same process, but for your year.

Based on your birthday, it’s a cycle analysis, which is a really interesting, eye opening thing to see what lessons do you personally have for the year? Now, that’s not what we’re doing here. We’re doing the collective. What are we all going to be feeling? What’s the cosmic weather? That we can all dress appropriately for so that we are able to weather, whatever storms, enjoy what’s here.

We don’t want to be wearing sweaters and, you know, in a hundred degree heat, and we don’t want to be caught without an umbrella when the rain comes, right? It’s the same thing. The cosmic weather helps us understand how we can be better prepared for these things in a gentle way, like you’re dressing for the weather.

You will not die if you go outside with a sweater on and it’s a hundred degrees. You’ll be uncomfortable, but you’re not going to die, right? So let’s take it with that type of mindset. Without further ado, let’s talk about the year. So the year, like I said, it always starts when the sun goes into gate 41 in the first line.

That is our moment. That is the birthing of a new year from a human design perspective. And the 41st gate, there’s certain things that never change. The 41st gate always has a pairing partner of the 31st gate. And the 41st gate is, this is a gate of new beginnings.

This is all about new beginnings. It sits in the root center. It is the pressure, the fuel to have an emotional experience and start something new. It is the Big Bang sending us off in a new direction to power whatever it is that this year has to bring. This is also the start codon in DNA. That is what 41 is associated with.

So it’s what says go to all of our genetic processes. So there’s greater representation here, when you’re looking at the 41st gate. And one of the definitions that I’ve read for 41 is hope. And what a beautiful way to look at it. That I think we all do start the year kind of with that feeling, you know, there’s hope, what else might we be able to create this year?

What might we be able to do? What changes can we make? And it’s funny when you look at the actual definition of it, or the actual name of gate 41 in human design, you know, they call it the gate of decrease or contraction. And it’s such a totally different, feeling when you say those words.

So I really like the definition of hope. I like that keynote better than I like contraction. So it’s definitely very different, but this is the fuel for dreams. That is what 41 is. It’s the fuel for dreams. And I heard someone else talking about this. They did a report on this as well.

And you know, it was explained how if you haven’t really felt like that your year has kicked off yet, if the beginning of January felt a little slow, well, We haven’t had our start code on yet. We haven’t had, the gun hasn’t gone off at the beginning of the race. The fuel has not been released into our dreams yet until this 22nd of January for most of the world, for most of the Western world, it’ll be the 22nd of January, some parts of the world will be the 21st of January.

 So this is how we start. We start with hope. The 41st gate points to gate 30. Which is not in the Rave New Year chart this year, but it does tell us something about the 41st gate to know what’s on the other side of it. And really that channel, this is all about fueling dreams, fueling the fantasies that we have gas, with actual fuel, making it go.

That’s what the Root Center does. It fuels things. It either fuels things with stress, or it fuels things with energy, and that’s what we’re looking at at the start of the year with the 41st gate. Now then we have, it’s always, programming partners never change. Then we have the programming partner of the 31st gate, which is a gate of influence.

This is, the 31st gate is, it’s a figurehead, it’s a very powerful, influential gate. It sits in the throat center and comes up from gate seven in the G center to be the voice of the logical process. The voice of I see a better way for all of us. It’s leadership in the 31st gate. And we come into it this year in detriment, which just means that it might be a little bit more fixed to the shadow.

We might see the shadow theme come up a little bit more than maybe we see the light. And I don’t look at that as necessarily, like, that can sound doomsday. And I want to be really clear about this. That’s not how I look at these things. These are lessons that are here for us all to learn. That’s how all of this is.

It’s, 41 is here to fuel the hope for all of us. It is here to set the stage for what could be, and then 31 is going to say, well, okay, how do we want to lead? It might be pulling us down into maybe making some hollow promises. We might see that out in the world. We might see leadership that we believed in maybe lose some of its followers, maybe lose some of its gas, maybe lose some of its support.

Because one of the lessons of the 31st gate is that power is not absolute, it is given, it is given by the people, and it can be given, and it can be taken away. I do think that this is interesting that this date usually falls around, it always does fall around, you know, when we inaugurate the US president here.

 That’s just interesting that the leadership gate is in detriment. And so we might be seeing. support be pulled and moved and we might be in for a little ride with that this year of seeing where maybe support is wavering and where it once was so strong maybe it starts to become less strong or we’re seeing those alliances and those ties really be tested.

And then we come into this year in the 25th gate in our nodes, and the 46th gate, our nodal positions. The 25th gate is about naturalness. It’s universal love. And there’s so much about this year.The key themes usually center around the sun and the earth. The nodes and what else do we have that’s a real, strong energy here in the chart and this year it’s, well, we have the nodes, but that are in the love gates in, the 25 and 46 are love gates in the G center, universal love and the love of the body, the love of the human experience.

The love of being dedicated to something and just really being in it for the experience. These are the lessons. When we’re looking at the nodes, this is the environment that we’re in. This is what we’re going to be seeing all around us. And we’re either going to be seeing that or we’re going to be seeing the absence of it.

 We’re going to see the absence of universal love and really understanding what forgiveness and healing is about. Spiritual connection, consciousness rising. We’re coming into it with that. And this is, you know, moving into and out of, the more strong willed sort of nodal positions that we’ve seen in the past, we’re moving into this more heart centered place.

Or at least we’re starting the year there. We’ll be moving into a more emotional place even after this. We’ll get to that later in the year. We’ll be seeing this shift even more and just going through our emotions. It’s going to be an emotional year. This year is a manifestor. This year, and I’ve mentioned this on previous episodes, but let’s dig into this.

The 3536 channel of transitoryness, which is a manifested channel. This is a manifested channel going from the solar plexus to the throat. And really what it represents is progress. It represents having emotional experiences that sometimes bring crisis. That, you know, every emotional experience has its ups and downs.

 But that is how progress is created. It’s created through saying, screw it, let’s do it, let’s try it. We try to make good decisions, not impulsive decisions. I think that that will probably be a lesson for us. How do we not get carried away into just being so obsessed with progress that we don’t think about what we need to do?

That we’re just impulsively jumping into things because that’s what came to us in the moment rather than sitting with it. Because what the emotional system teaches us and anything that’s emotional, if we look at this year, this year is an emotional manifester. What does that say to me? That tells me that this year we have the power to create real progress and change this year.

That that is the potential that’s here for us, but an emotional manifester, I work with lots of them. Emotional manifestors, above all, they have the power to move mountains. They can make really big things happen, but they have to do it from a place of emotional clarity. And I think that’s going to be a lesson that we all have to learn how to process our emotions so that we can come to our next endeavor, so we can come to this life.

Society as a whole is coming to things with clarity and making progress with clarity, and not just running through things like a bull in a China shop. Change for change’s sake. That doesn’t typically lead where we want it to go, leads to overcorrection. We want progress, so we shoot really far and hard in the direction that we think we need to go, and we don’t realize that we way overshot the target and then we gotta bring it back.

So this year, I think that that’s what we’re going to see it’s going to be an emotional year. We’re coming into it with inherently emotional energy. The 36 in the emotional center is the gate of crisis. I think we’re going to all learn how to navigate crisis. And our nodes will actually be moving into those positions as well, I believe in February, I don’t have the exact date for that nodal position change, but it will be coming soon, it’ll be coming in the beginning of the year, where you might feel a shift going from universal love and dedication to, okay, we’ve got to move now.

The 36 and the 6 say, okay, it’s time to make a change. It’s time to make something happen. The 36 loves to have an experience. The 36 loves to dive into things for the, just thrill of it all. It also can bring crisis from jumping hard and soon. So I think we’re going to be seeing a lot of that.

I think we might be seeing some things. And so might be asking, well, what do we do about that? Crisis is coming. What do we do? Well, first of all, you really learned to regulate your nervous system. This is going to be so important for everybody this year. You have to learn how to ride the waves of your emotions.

You have to learn to process your emotions. I think that is the overarching theme of this year is that we better get really comfortable with our emotions. We have to stop flinging them on each other and making them something that other people have to deal with. We have to stop hiding from them. We have to stop going after each other.

That we do have to open our hearts more. And face our emotional situations and not be so reactive in a crisis. I think that is what 35, 36 teaches us. If you’re reactive in a crisis, then the progress doesn’t come or it takes longer to come. We have to come to it knowing that we can weather the storm.

 It’s 36 and 6 are my nodes, so they are my perspective and I’ve talked about this on the show before, but perhaps you haven’t heard it. I know many of you have not, and what my reflection on that polarity being the perspective with which I look at the world and look at all things in the world. And I really do see how this has shaped my worldview is that everything does work out in the end.

Every crisis, and I’ve seen lots of them, and I have been part of, difficult situations, and I’ve certainly witnessed them, we all are. We’re seeing a lot more crisis in the world. But I think we’re also seeing, right now we’re going through the L. A. fires. I lived in Los Angeles for seven years.

This has been very emotional for me to watch that and to not be there and to feel so connected to that place, to a city that was so good to me that changed who I was and made me who I am today and to see them suffering and to see them going through so much is so unbelievably difficult and doing what we can to, to help and support.

But it feels, we feel a little helpless. And I think the only thing that’s maybe making us feel. A little bit better about it, man, do I wish they could put the fires out. Cause that’s part of the problem is that they’re still burning. So they are very far from being out of the woods yet. And I, my heart goes out. 

To any listener, if you are in Los Angeles, if you are in that area, my heart goes out to you because I recognize that this is a, an exercise for your nervous system right now, because I know that the alert warnings are going off, where if the winds change directions, or the weather shifts, and the fire is suddenly blowing where they weren’t planning before, suddenly now it’s in another part of town, a new fire is up, and now suddenly your home is at risk, it’s very difficult to feel grounded in a constant state of alert and fear.

But the one thing that I think has come out of that is that Gate 25, we are all connected. That’s the nodes, that’s what we are seeing, that is what we are seeing in the world, for the most part. Of course, online can bring out the most ugly parts in people, and we can start asking ourselves why this tragedy is getting more, more coverage, why are we feeling sorry for rich people, all of the stuff that does not help.

And I do want to say, hurt people hurt people, and so if you’ve been triggered by people asking for help or for celebrities crying about their homes being burned to the ground and losing everything in them and all of the memories and losing their community, if you’ve been triggered by that and feel like that they don’t have a right to do that, then I send you love.

Because I do think that this is, it’s just a reflection of maybe where you feel like life has not been fair to you and you’re not understanding why somebody else maybe feels comfortable asking for help. There’s a lot of possibilities, but if we can meet challenges with love, with an open heart, and with saying that harm to one is harm to all.

That the collective is hurting. So the collective comes to try to lift up those who are hurting. That is gate 25. That is the North node in gate 25. We’re going to have other planets transiting. It’s very interesting. If you look at the astrology and human designer synonymous, I’m using the terms here because we’re talking about the same things.

Just, we’re talking about gates versus signs. You see a lot of the same human design gates shifting from one planet to the other. So there’s just this consistency. I mean, gate 36 goes in like four different planets are in gate 36 at different times during the year. We have 25 moving into a few other of the longer term planets.

It’s these themes are not going away. It is a theme of shedding emotions of, coming to things from. A heart-centered place that the 2027 mutation that we’re all talking about with the cross of the sleeping phoenix and the mutation in the solar plex center, where basically the solar plexus is becoming an awareness center, has the potential to be an awareness center.

That’s the change that we’re seeing for humanity. If you’ve been following any of that in the human design circles. But what that means from just a practical standpoint is that our emotions, if you think about it this year, and if you think about what’s happening. The emotional system being on display and us, all these planets going through these emotional places when planets go through emotional places, then what we’re doing, or goes through any place, the way that we use this is to learn the lessons.

And we’re learning different lessons based on what planet is illuminating that particular sign or that particular gate. Well, when 25 is in the North node, it’s telling us like, that’s the environment. That’s the people, that’s the reflection we’re going to see in the world. If it comes over into Uranus, then it’s going to have a different expression of maybe showing us what’s happening with innovation or evolution or where we’re going, or we need to change things or shake things up.

This is how we learn. This is how society evolves. And this year, how we’re being called to evolve is emotionally. So double down on your energetic work. Double down on things like human design. On tools like EFT and breath work and other ways that you can regulate yourself. Get really comfortable with your emotions.

Process them. Look at them. And come to things from a clean, clean place, because this is what will serve you best this year from my understanding of it.
