Hello and welcome to Unshakable with Human Design. I’m your host, Nicole Laino. And today it’s just you and me. And I want to talk about this thing that I see. Every six figure plus entrepreneur I know and certainly the seven figure ones who are coaching and who are selling services, every single one of them I know has something that I don’t often hear people talking about. And I think part of it is because they take it for granted and.
It’S not their morning routine.
We certainly hear an awful lot about that stuff. We hear about their mindset work, we’ll hear their inspirational quotes. Especially when people get to like that thought leader status, they start to just, you know, inspire us and they might even share something about like their marketing strategy. But I very seldom hear people really talk about this. And it’s honestly what makes the whole thing work. And it’s something that because people don’t know about it, they never create it. And I feel like it’s a reason that a lot of people stay stuck and they’re not selling their offers and they are stuck on that content hamster wheel where every day creating content feels so difficult and they’re constantly pressed up against like, what am I going to post? So the thing is that I don’t think it’s a secret necessarily.
Like I don’t think anyone’s gatekeeping it. Like I’m not going to tell anybody this, but it’s certainly something that if they teach it’s in their paid stuff, but they don’t necessarily talk about it in their open marketing, in their content that’s free. And then some of them, I think it just goes overlooked and it’s something that doesn’t get shared. And I wanted to talk about it today before we get started. You know, and like I said, I don’t think that they are gatekeeping this on purpose. Or maybe they are, I don’t know. But the successful entrepreneurs, all of them, myself included, have a signature framework. It is some unique way that they get people results. And I. I mean, I think maybe they feel like it’s too obvious or I think even myself, I don’t talk about it all that often. I talk about the pieces in my framework, but I don’t talk about the framework itself. And it is so irreplaceable in my mind because once I did this, I stopped being confused. I stopped wondering what I would post every day. I stopped having content that didn’t convert it all, made it all work.
And I’m thinking about one of my clients who she resisted doing this because it is work we have to think through in order to have a signature framework. You really have to think through what you do. And I’m not going to say that it’s the most fun that people have doing this work. Most people would love to explore their human design, but they don’t want to do something like develop their signature framework because it takes a lot of thinking. I see this especially with our line twos, and I think that it’s actually incredibly valuable for them because line twos, a lot of times will doubt how good they are at things because it comes so naturally to them.
And I approach this differently with those people, but by them going through the process, organizes their thoughts around what they do and builds so much confidence. So it’s highly valuable for so many reasons. But this one client that I’m thinking about, she didn’t want to do it. She kept putting it off. She kept procrastinating. And I was like, have you gone and done the framework thing? She’s like, no, no, and then finally she came back. She’s like, okay, I did the framework. And this is like, somebody put a jetpack on me. Like, everything is clear. I know what I have to do. I know what I’m saying. I know what the offer is. I know how this all works. And I’ve talked to her since. I mean, I’m still in contact with so many of my clients that are no longer in bbd.
She’s still using it. She is still organizing her thoughts and what she does based on my framework for the framework. Right. And so it’s something, it’s an unsung hero of your business. And I think a lot of people, one of the things that the reason that they don’t have one is that they’re copying what other people do instead of identifying their own process. And this is hurting their business. This is hurting your ability to sell. If you’re doing it that I understand that we start there. We might model people at first, but eventually you have to get to a point where you’re like, this is my way. This is how I help you. And I think, you know, some people don’t even realize that their unique way is valuable. That’s a problem too.
Because if you don’t really believe in it to a level where you’re like, I know I can get you results. Because you might think that it’s a fluke if you’ve done it before and you’ve gotten people results, but you don’t know how and you didn’t take them through a process. You either have to have so much confidence that your intuitive way is just like soul led and it works every time. And you have so much confidence in that. And I applaud you if you do that kind of work. But if you don’t have that level of confidence, then that is probably seeping into your sales process where you are not selling as hard as you could be if you believed in what you did more, if you were like, I know that when someone signs up with me, we’re going to go through this.
And that might be a process that changes a little bit. I think when we say framework, people get in their mind, like, it’s going to be this rigid step by step process. And that’s not what a signature framework is. To me, we might think it through that way. But I mean, I teach human design. That’s part of my framework. There’s obviously so much nuance and, you know, we’re tailoring it to each person. It’s so personalized it is completely bespoke. So it’s not the same thing for everybody. But the step of going through a reading is what we do with what we find in that step is a different story. Right?
And then I think the other reason, you know, that people don’t have a signature framework and so many people miss this is that they just were never taught to look at their expertise this way. And. And it’s really hurting their ability to sell. It’s hurting their confidence, everything that I was just talking about. So let’s talk a little bit about, you know, like, why this is such a problem. So when you don’t have a framework, when you haven’t really thought through what you do and you don’t have a method, you’re constantly wondering, what should I talk about? What should I post? What should I put in my emails? What should I talk about on my podcast? So I teach people to launch podcasts and to monetize podcasts.
Part of the way that we monetize a podcast is the podcast is built off the framework, and that is sort of the guiding light of how we choose what episodes belong. Right now, I’m talking to you about signature framework. This is a step in my process. This is something that I teach. If you are interested in that, if this is something where you’re like, oh, my God, I have to have that, well, guess what? I sell it. I’m talking to you about something that I sell, but I’m also explaining the value of it. You don’t have to buy it. You don’t have to do it with me. That part is up to you. But I am letting you know that the things that I talk about on this show are things that I can monetize.
So that’s what we’re teaching, and that’s what so many people are missing. They’re just talking about stuff that might be interesting, and that’s fine. There’s a place for that in everybody’s brand and in everybody’s business. You always have to have a little category for just shit. I want to say, people I want to talk to. This sounds like fun. I want people to know who I am. That is absolutely valid and needed, but it can’t be everything, or you’re probably going to face a brand. Either you’re going for full influencer status, which is a different thing. I don’t help with that. That’s not my area of expertise. Or you’re not selling and then you’re going broke, or sales aren’t. You feel like you have to hunt constantly. I don’t want to do that.
I want the content on my Instagram and the content on this podcast to be working for me. I want it to be building demand for what I sell. Not everybody’s going to buy it, of course not. But they know I sell it. They get what I do, they understand the value that I offer. And then they’re making a choice whether or not that is something that they need. That’s the other piece. That’s completely up to them. But my job is to make sure that it’s very clear that this is what you can buy from me. And here, let me tell you something about it. That’s what a framework allows you to do. And a framework, what it really is, it’s that unique methodology that is your way of thinking through how you get people results from problem to. To result.
How do you get people there? So it’s like having pillars. Content pillars are often thought about that. But I think when we think about content pillars, it’s like, so what are my pillars? And we start with like, what are my pillars? But we’re not really thinking through our methodology. And when you think through your methodology, you know, I look at these. I teach this very differently than a lot of other people do as well. I don’t just teach a methodology. I teach a methodology that is also a marketing tool. And the way that I teach that is each pillar should solve a problem. This is how you get a program that doesn’t have stuff in it that’s not needed. This is how you get very clear about what you’re doing.
And this is how you can sell what you do versus just talking about features of your program, which is not what people buy. So we think through that all in the signature framework piece. That’s what it does. And then when you have this in place, when you have a signature framework, when you’ve thought through all of this, when you are like, okay, I get what I do, I get how I take people from A to B, understand how we get there. I understand the nuances within that. I understand the problems that all of these things solve, your content starts to write itself. Your content starts to become very easy to create. You could say, like, okay, well, I’m going to talk about these things when I want to sell this offer.
Your sales page becomes so much clearer and compelling because you’ve thought through it all. It doesn’t feel like you’re starting from scratch over and over again. Every time you have to write a sales page, a landing page, an email, a social media post, a podcast episode. It’s something that you’ve thought through. Now it’s just a matter of you thinking about how do I want to present this time? The other amazing thing about this is that you can create multiple offers from one framework. And if you’re doing that, this is the key, honestly, to being able to sell multiple things to largely the same person or people at a different stage of the journey. And every time you explain your framework, people want to buy your offers. And when you have a framework, this is how I see so many people.
And we’re going to do an episode just on this, but I’ll touch on it here. So many people want to do low ticket offers. Oh, I’ll sell this. And I did this too. Before I had a framework, I sold so many things. I created offers constantly. I was so burned out and I wasn’t making nearly as I was making a fraction of what I make now. I have so much more free time now and my offers sell so much more. I make so much more money and I keep so much more of my money because I’m more efficient. Everything I do serves the greater good of my business. It serves business by design. It serves the offers that I sell. And I teach an ecosystem. Every offer builds demand for another offer.
That’s how we compound and that’s how we get more out of every bit that we make, everything that we create, every bit of marketing. Someone is saying, oh, I want to buy into this. And it’s like, oh, well, I’ll buy this small piece and then I’ll upgrade to that later if I like the small piece. But being able to make all of that work, the offers have to be related in some way and the framework is that unifying factor. So when you have this, when you have a signature framework, when you have a methodology that you’ve thought through the way that I teach it becomes a sales tool, becomes a marketing bible for you, an offer and funnel roadmap that you can start picking things off very easily and very clearly.
It’s also a confidence booster because like I was saying, you are so clear not just about what you do, but how what you do can help the people that you serve. And this is where so many people get stuck. This is why so many people. I don’t have any testimonials or I don’t have this when they first start out. You can start out with a really good method and you can get around the. No testimonial thing by beta launching your program. But you do need to tell people what it can do for them. And so many people come to me, even ones who have decent sized businesses, they come to me, I look at what they’re doing and I’m like, we need to get clear on what it is that you do and what your message is.
Because your message comes down to like, what’s your methodology? What do you have to say about this? They go hand in hand. And when those two things are missing, this is how we get misaligned offers. This is how we get offers that aren’t selling. We get burnout because we’re doing so much more work than is necessary. When you have a method, you’re not just giving people advice, you’re actually explaining a process that you can take them through to get them to a result. That’s what people buy. This is why coaches get upset, because people don’t want to pay them for advice. I don’t sell advice. That’s not what I do. That is something that I do within my programs. Of course I’m giving you advice, I’m giving you guidance, but I’m also giving you a framework to build your business.
I’m also giving you a framework to understand your design. I’m also giving you a framework to come home to yourself. And I can explain to you how I do that. That instills confidence in the people who maybe have heard coaches and service providers out there over the last 10 years online spewing some bullshit and really not having a method behind anything. So you buy into some several thousand dollar program and you find that there’s really no thought behind it. It’s just a bunch of stuff. And that’s where people are like, yeah, it was cool, but I don’t know. But they can’t really say what they got out of it. They can’t really say what it did for them or it feels like what they thought it would do for them, it didn’t do.
When you can take them through your process, then they can feel really held by the fact that it’s like, oh, she’s really thought through this and that’s the result that I want. And it seems like she really understands, like the process of getting through these steps. Like, it seems really purposeful. I trust that she will be able to shepherd me through this journey. That’s what we’re after. So start noticing. What do you actually do to get people results? Can you clearly explain your method? And again, it isn’t about having this rigid step by step. Like one step leads into the other. Mine isn’t. It’s much more artistic than that. There’s much more of a nuance to it.
But at its core, there are going to be things that are necessary in order for somebody to get results, and then there’s going to be some twists and turns along the way. But generally, can you explain your method for getting somebody to the finish line?
