Hello, and welcome to Unshakeable with Human Design. I’m your host, Nicole Laino. And it’s just you and me today, and I have been noticing sometimes there’s just themes that are. You feel like you’re surrounded by them. You feel like everybody is talking about the same thing. You’re having the same conversation with all of these different people where we’re talking about the same thing in different ways. So I noticed in Facebook groups that I’m a part of, which are like, for masterminds that I’m a part of or programs and groups like that. So the entrepreneurial conversation that has been happening over there, I’m seeing the same thing over there, which is a lot of people talking about how they just don’t feel motivated the way that they used to. Things feel harder, but they’re not hard. 


But it’s like they can’t bring themselves to have the excitement that they want to have around their work or that they felt like they used to have, that things have shifted. And then the other thing I’ve noticed that there’s, like, feuds between influencers in the entrepreneurial space, and you’re seeing the cracks there where you’re seeing these people who were supposedly pillars of alignment and millionaire status and all of that, and you’re seeing them navigate things in maybe not the most graceful way and having a public feud of who’s right and who’s wrong. And I’ve even had some clients come to me with these kind of thoughts about that. The way that they’re approaching their business feels very different, and that can be unsettling because we love consistency. We love when we get something that works because it makes us feel safe. 


And so clients coming to me feeling like they feel something shifting, they don’t have the motivation that they once had, or things feel different for them at the moment. But the conversation we have with my clients is very different and much more productive because we approach it in a totally different way than the average entrepreneur, because we are looking at them and coming at them from this place of understanding of human design, of what’s happening in the energetic fields, the shifts that are happening for humanity. And to me, I’m like, oh, this is par for the course now. That is not to say that I haven’t had these same thoughts myself. I’ve had them. 


I’m going to get into it in the episode, I’m going to get into it here where I’m going to talk to you about the conversation I’ve had with myself and these moments of what can feel kind of dark nights of the soul and really have you questioning things. But there’s productive questioning, which I think is like contemplation or inquiry, which is one of my prime gifts is inquiry. To ask good questions and to just sit with what’s there, not frantically try to figure it out so you could feel safe again. That’s one of the big shifts. So in this episode we’re going to talk about a lot of stuff, but in the episode I really want to break down the shift. I’m going to talk about what’s really happening. 


I’m going to give you kind of a breakdown of a plan of how you navigate through this, especially over the next like 90 days. So your business thrives through the change, so you thrive through this change. So. So that you can be somebody who is navigating these uncharted waters. I’ll call them. They’re not necessarily choppy all the time. It’s just different. We just hadn’t been here before, so it feels really new. And new can feel terribly scary at times. So as we are shifting into this and especially when it feels like we don’t want it, and that’s at the core of some of the shift and we’re going to talk about that. So I’m going to break down a lot of stuff in this episode. 


I’m going to give you kind of like two steps at the end that sort of break down like what you actually do with this. So it’s not just going to be about the shifts. We’re going to talk about what is the future of marketing, what is the future of sales and business. If our relationship to business shifts and if the world is shifting in such huge and meaningful ways, then how do we show up in a way that doesn’t feel like we’re forcing ourselves? Where suddenly our businesses become like the jobs we tried to escape from before. How do we reconnect with what we love and what we’re here for? Okay, so at the heart of all of this is you being at the center of your brand.

Let’s dive into why marketing feels different and not just from a things aren’t working standpoint. But I don’t know if I feel into this anymore. So let’s just start with the shift here. I’m just going touch on it. So the ground is genuinely shifting and moving underneath us. We are less than eight months away from the 2027 change. We are so like in striking distance of this shift. The nodes have been, you know, the direction for humanity have been in these themes of the cross of planning and the cross of the sleeping phoenix. So we’ve been getting tastes of this all over the place. It’ us, it’s all around us. 


And we’ve talked about all of this at length on this show and I go deep into this sort of an unexpected turn that our July Transit episode with Christina Luna and I, it took a little bit of an interesting turn. At the beginning of the episode, Christina asked me a question and kind of went off on a tangent on the changes on 2027, on some of the details around it that I haven’t discussed on the show because no one ever asked me those questions before. So she sort of brought that in. That episode’s going to air on Wednesday, July 1. So if you’re listening to this and that hasn’t come out, definitely listen to it when it does. If you were listening to this and it’s already come out, then go and listen to that. 


Because I go into detail there, so I don’t want to do it again. We have talked a lot about 2027, and I will touch on things that are relevant here, but I’m not going to rehash all of that. We know that we’re moving from a tribal kind of very business structures, contracts. We’re moving from these themes of like, growth and industry and taking care of each other and taking care of ourselves and owning land and all of these themes of tribalism. Right. And collective energy and logic. And we are moving to something that is individual, it’s integrative, which is even more individual. Meaning it’s just all it cares about is its own survival. All it cares about is its own expression. Right. So we’re moving. This is the big highlight shift. Right? But I’m sure you’re noticing that, like even with these shifts. 


So this is all happening. Like I said, I go into it more with Christina in the Transit episode, but what you’re seeing. So that shift is happening, but I’m sure you’re noticing that the conversation has changed online. There’s been talk of things not working like they used to for a while. We get that a lot of people have said launches are dead or this isn’t working or you have to have this now or you’ve got to have a low ticket offer. There’s all of these people with telling you what the problem is so they can tell you what the solution is so they can sell you the solution. Right? So we’ve got a lot of that out there. But the not being motivated to sell, that’s different. So all of that talk of like, that’s not working, so this is working here. 


Here’s how you can make money. Still, that’s nothing new. But the I’m not motivated to sell. I don’t want to show up. I feel like drawing. That’s different. I haven’t heard that much. And that is something that I have felt and like I was saying, I’ve been hearing it all around. So what others see in this and what I’m noticing and how the conversation in my world is different than the conversation that A lot of these other people are having is what others are seeing is. It’s a fear that everything is falling apart. The fear of like, oh my God, I don’t want it anymore. Shit, I. This is hard work. When I wanted it, I could show up, but I don’t even want it anymore. Now what. What’s happening to me? So that’s what other people see. 


So now that puts us in a fear sort of mechanism, right? We’re afraid. Oh my God, what does this mean? Now we make meaning of all of these feelings. And I get it. I’ve been there. Like, I have moments of this. And if you listen to the transit episodes and if you’re interested in human design is all built and stands under the understanding or theory that we are all in a program, that the energy that we are all experiencing cosmically, collectively is integrating and speaking to and working with our own programming, which is our design. Right? So that’s what I see. What I see is the program, the shift that we’ve all been talking about for years is actually occurring. But it used to feel optional to be aligned, right? It felt optional to be the brand. 


Or we had a different understanding of it. We could wrap our heads around it because logically it started to make sense. And now if you’re really watching and you’re really paying attention, you’re starting to see that is the only way is to be something. We always had that phrasing out there be, do have, right? But in the past, you could do more and get more. And now, weirdly, it’s like, but I’m almost incapable of hustling right now. I don’t know if I care like I used to. And I would challenge you if you felt that way. A question for you is, do you not care or do you care about other things? And what are those other things? What are the things that you care about right now? What are the things that are calling to you? 


I know some people will say that they are not motivated to do anything. I find that’s usually not true. Usually to me, that is a break in the design process. It’s a predict projector who is depleted and doesn’t feel successful truly at their job. Now, whether they are, they could be making millions of dollars, but they don’t feel successful. They don’t feel like this is what they want to be recognized for. It doesn’t feel like a good resource or they don’t feel like they are the right resource for it anymore. It doesn’t feel Fulfilling. And projectors have to feel fulfilled. It isn’t. It can’t be just a pure ego work game. 


So I see it more as the program pulling you back to who you are and to what is right for you and making it so unpalatable to be anything other than true to yourself. That’s not terribly convenient when we want to override our true selves to get what we want or to get what we think we need. Right. So what I see and what I feel, and all of this comes down to when I’m talking about the program, that can sound all, you know, woo, or it can sound maybe a little bit confusing. What does she mean by the program? The idea is that there is an energetic. You know, the analogy I always use is that the transits that we’re under. 


So when Christina and I run through that every single month and we tell you, here’s the weather report for the next month, or when we talk about 2027 and we talk about the background frequency, all of these things are just music that we are dancing to, but we don’t know it’s playing. We’re all dancing to it. And all of this is our whole lives are just us kind of going along with that background dance and then doing our own thing over it and hopefully following our own process so that we’re getting to what we’re supposed to be doing or being in this life, which is really what the whole point of human design is. Can we get to who were meant to be in this life? Can we bring what were meant to bring to the world in this life? 


We all have a purpose. We all have some reason for being here. And what’s interesting right now is that we are starting to, I think for entrepreneurs a lot of times we can get our purpose very focused with our business. We’d be like, I want to live my purpose, I want to monetize my purpose. And look, I talk about that stuff. I’ll take the heat that I’m part of that messaging out there because I am somebody who feels like when I feel something, I want to share it. When I do feel like there is a calling there to what I am supposed to put out in the world. I got a Leo Midheaven. There is always going to be this element for me of expressing fully my. My mission in this life. And I affect others through that mission. 


So with all of this to say, when we’re dancing to this music that we don’t know is playing, the difference is sometimes we get really caught up in that dance. So picture if you could watch, if you could take a step back, and you had a moment of clarity, and suddenly you saw everybody dancing to the same music, and you’d never seen it before. And you notice, and you’re able to observe and you’re able to see it. And for once, you stop dancing for a moment. You got caught up in it for a bit, and then you paused and you looked around and you were like, whoa. Like, you suddenly started watching it like you were on television, like you were an observer. Have you ever heard that? Maybe you’ve heard that saying before. Become the observer of your thoughts. 


Become the observer of your feelings. In Human Design, what I think is interesting is, can you become an observer of the program? So when you hear Christina and I on the Transit episodes, talk about. Sometimes we talk about the previous month and what we felt and how we experienced the program that previous month, and how we’re expecting the program to look potentially over the next month. That’s the whole thing that we’re talking about. So this is what I see. I see people getting sucked into the program, getting sucked into. It’s pulling us in a new direction, and they’re desperately trying to cling to the old music. There’s new music playing, and they’re starting to do a different dance, but they haven’t figured out the dance yet. They haven’t really figured out what the steps are. And they’re like, I don’t know what’s going on. 


I don’t know. Like, I want to do this new dance, but I’ve always done this old dance. And the old dance works for me, and I know how to do it, and I look really good doing it. And people liked when I did this other dance, and I got a lot of attention, and a lot of people wanted to dance with me. I don’t know if I dance this new dance. Will I be any good at it? Will other people want to dance with me? Will I be a star dancer? I don’t know. I want to know, right? So that’s what I see. I see people clinging onto the old. So when you’re. The demotivation might be just a feeling of being pulled to something else. You’re just not motivated to do what you’ve been doing the way you’ve been doing it. 


And that scares you because you think it works, either because you’ve experienced it working, or someone told you that it would work. And now that it’s not working, you’re starting, and you don’t want it anymore. You’re like, oh, my God, now what am I gonna do? So with all that being said, what is the future of marketing and sales? If things are changing, if we are shifting into a new way, how do we navigate this? I’m glad you asked. So the old way was dominated by ego, logic, and strategy. And those are the exactly the things that I think or I’m hearing a lot of people feel like are hard for them. It’s hard for them to care about what makes sense. It’s hard for them to strategize or do the strategic thing the way they used to do it. 


It’s hard for them to just willpower their way through it. Whether they have a defined ego or an undefined ego, I don’t care. There is a lack of, like, drive and heart and motivation to just go over what you want. The new way is dominated by presence, intuition, alignment, and no logic. So it makes sense that we are maybe pulled into a more inward place. Right? So what’s replacing the old ways and the old engine? The old engine is where it’s tied to ego, tied to strategy, where it’s tied to all of these other things. What is coming in to replace it is less performing, not more. And it’s a brand built on who you are expressed, fully expressed. And when the brand comes from what you’re actually here for, marketing stops feeling like selling and it starts feeling like getting clear. 


Every time I show up in alignment, all that fear goes away. Every time I dig into who I am or a little bit more of me, when the strategy isn’t making sense, everything becomes clear. When I let go of it, having to be right or have it be just like something I did before because it worked. I’ve fallen in that trap, and it doesn’t resonate anymore for me. And I’m the one who matters. So none of this is like, permission to stop. It’s not telling you, yeah, stop running your business. Losing the motivation is a doorway to building the thing that makes that old kind of selling unnecessary. Building it is still the work. It’s just different work. 


So you have to give yourself permission to do the different work and to go all in on the different work rather than trying to do it just like you did before. Now I have a caveat. Cause I have two steps, two things that I want you to focus on or ways that you can take this episode and move forward with it. Okay? The first thing that I want you to know is in the month of July, give yourself permission to go inward it’s probably gonna feel all over the place this month. We are in cancer season, which is highly emotional. Typically, there’s some root pressure energy in there. The beginning of the month, it could feel a little bit like a pressure cooker, and it could feel a little emotional. And we’re also in a Mercury retrograde for a lot of it. 


So please don’t put too much pressure on yourself to perform. This is a great time to exercise, not feeling like you have to perform. It’s a great time to get introspective. Now, the old question for the old paradigm was, what do I want? And I’ve heard a lot of people say lately that they don’t know what they want anymore. I don’t know what I want. I used to know what I want. I don’t know what I want anymore. I know what I want, but I don’t know if I could get it. But they don’t really want it. That’s the thing. They don’t really want it the same way they used to. Because I start to question whether. A new question to contemplate, instead of what do I want? I want you to contemplate, who do I want to be? 


Take July to sit with that. I know it doesn’t sound like such a groundbreaking question, who do I want to be? Duh, if I knew that. But when we ask ourselves different questions at different times, we get different answers. You’re different right now. The program is moving you in different ways right now. So you will get a different answer than you did. If you asked yourself this question six months ago, a year ago, three years ago, and you think you know it, revisit it. Take July to sit with that and ask that question, who do I want to be? You can still want things. It’s not a problem not to want things. It’s just if that doesn’t feel like the big driver in your life to go after what you want because you want it, that might be the program changing. 


And maybe we’re all not operating like manifestors anymore, which were 92% of the world was never meant to do in the first place. Sit with that. And the second thing, start to put real work around expressing who you want to be. I don’t care if you’re journaling it and you’re keeping it to yourself or you’re putting it out into the world, but really go deep on expressing who you want to be, who you believe you are, what is coming through you. This is a time to open the channel, the masterclass that I’m teaching was designed to bring you into a new level of focus with you at the center of your brand. 


This is a great way to start if this work speaks to you, if you want to do any sort of work with human design, and I want to be clear, human design for business. The way that this works is human design. And living in alignment with your design success from your business is a byproduct of living in alignment. It isn’t the process that you have to follow. And if you get something right, then you pulled the right lever and money came out of the machine. That’s not how it works. It’s a byproduct of your alignment, if that interests you. Because that is, as I understand it, that is the new way. The more and more I look at this, the more and more I feel this. It’s like I believed it years ago when I started teaching this. 


I knew it in my heart, I knew it in my soul, I knew it in my bones. But now I’m seeing it. I’m like, oh my God, this is really it. And now I can’t unsee it.
