Episode 463:


Hello, and welcome to Unshakeable with Human Design. I’m your host, Nicole Laino. And I was actually something that inspired me for this episode. I wanted to talk about being an expanded leader, what that really means to lead in this era. And I was reading a really cool article on the changes the spiritual coaching space is going through on Substack. And in it, the creator said, I’m going to read you a little piece of it, because that was sort of thinking about and kind of contemplating what I wanted this episode to be and sort of the way that I work. And this is what I think that we’re moving toward as well, is this more fluid state of working where it isn’t all just sitting there thinking about something until it’s done and making yourself do it. 

It’s where we want to get to is this flow state where it’s like, oh, yeah. I’m like, okay, well, I think I want to do something around this. And then I went and did something else. And I used my design to kind of like to interact with different things and to be in response to different things and to take in different information and see what comes out of it. And that’s how it gets to be easy. That’s how we get to do all the same things and check them off of our to do list, but have it feel very different. That’s what, you know, the living by your design and working by your design is really all about. 

So all that to say that I read this substack article and I’m going to read you a little piece from it because I think it’s a nice way to kick this off, because I think that the creator shared something. I think she kicked it off with a really great question. So she said, at a certain point, the market, meaning the market of spiritual entrepreneurship and coaching becomes so saturated with similar messages that something deeper begins to surface. And it’s a good thing. People start asking a new question, not how do I grow my coaching business, but what is the deeper work I’m actually here to do? The reason I wanted to read that, the reason that stood out to me is because this is the era that I believe that we are moving into. 

And I think that human design can Reveal what your deeper work is if you get out of the damn way, if you stop trying to make it into something else. And that I think is. That’s the big headline. What’s the deeper work I’m actually here to do? Now, we all start somewhere. So I kind of want to talk about, like, there’s a shift that is happening in how leadership works. That’s what the point of this is. The expanded leader is somebody who is here that is unabashedly and without shame putting their deeper work out there and really connecting with it and putting out the work that has resonance with their soul. 

And it will have resonance with the souls of the people that they are meant to connect with, the fractal family, the people they are here to serve, the ones that we are always trying to intellectualize who they are, what they need and how we can communicate with them. I’m going to go off on a little bit of a tangent here, but if you think about how the 2027 change that is coming, ultimately, what that is about. Now you can talk about all the different themes, theme of the cross of planning ending on February 13th of 2027. And then we will enter into the cross of the Sleeping Phoenix. Cross of planning being very linear, very structured, very much about tribal connections, growth at all costs. Right? Very much a tribal environment, very much about growth and material change. Right? Material growth. 

And now where we’re going crossed up to the Sleeping Phoenix is a very individualistic cross with themes of personal empowerment, sharing and being exactly who you are. Depth and intimacy as actual strategies for living your life, not as just nice things to have or not to have, to be good at or not to be good at. To recognizing that abundance is something that is an emotional state and not a material state. These are themes that we’re moving into. You can take that a step further and you can say there’s supposedly. Again, I say supposedly because we don’t know. And I can’t scientifically prove it. And if I can’t scientifically prove it, I will always put the asterisk there and say this is what theory says. But only time will tell. 

The theory says that we are moving toward a more advanced type of being that humans as we are now, that this 9 centered being that we are will evolve into what they call the rave. And the raves are on a different level of consciousness. They are more connected through consciousness and through emotions. The emotional system, the solar plexus, becomes an awareness center where they will be able to this new level of Human that is coming, they won’t be humans, they’ll be different. But this new type of person that is emerging is going to be connected. They’ll be connected to each other on this emotional consciousness level. Whereas we are on a material level, we are on a physical level. 

So as we move to all of these things, doesn’t it make sense that with where life is going, that connecting with the deeper work that we are getting deeper as people, not more shallow that we are starting to look, people are starting to look for deeper connection, that maybe all of the crumbling and all the world’s on fire stuff that we are all enduring right now has a purpose. And that purpose is for us to see how wrong we’ve been and where we need to be more inclusive, more accepting, more loving, more open, less hierarchical. All of those themes that we’re starting to see the cracks of. And as we have this evolution of technology and all these things, are we now being asked to connect with each other on a more human level, on a deeper level? 

So if this is where humanity is going, doesn’t it make sense that leadership and what you come to offer, that if you are still dealing in the same shallow, hooky, shallow type of content and the shallow type of messaging and you’re talking about the same things that everybody else talks about, you are either going to deepen and connect with people on a deeper level and connect with yourself on a deeper level, or you’re probably going to be pushed out. So the people that we’ve seen kind of exit the market or try to shift things. We’re already seeing people who have very strategic businesses suddenly start to adopt and implement and start to teach or at least proselytize the need for nervous system regulation, for expansion in your nervous system for being able to hold what you want to call in deeper conversation, right? 

The shallow is no longer selling. The shallow is no longer connecting with people because people are getting deeper. They are looking for something deeper. For a long time, leadership online was just about visibility. Be seen, be consistent, be everywhere, stay top of mind. And for a while that really worked, but now it is not. We’re seeing that slow down. That is not becoming the way that people are growing now. And those people who grew that way, that’s not working for them the way that it used to. There are a lot of people who are visible and a lot of people who are trusted, but it’s not the same people. The people who are just super visible people are finding that’s not necessarily the person That I can trust with my business, I can trust with my heart. They’re looking for something deeper. 

This is where human design comes in. So this is the business that I have been trying to. I think maybe I’ve been growing into the way that I can talk about this. But also I have been trying to communicate with people and get them past that shallow stage of human design and get them to the deeper level. Because is about your mission. You have a mission in life, you have a mission on this earth and your understanding of that mission. On day one, you’ll read your human design, you’ll intellectualize it, you’ll start to get it a little bit. But I guarantee you it’ll be very different a few years from then. And maybe you’re already a few years into your journey, so maybe you’re already starting to deepen it. So now I ask you, are you putting that depth out? 

Are you making the depth your message? Is that what you’re leading with is that are you able to do it? Because we’re not all able to right away. We’re not all able to lead with our depth right away. Some of us have some deconditioning to do to be able to share it. In the last episode that I released, I talked about the authority platforms and how they give you space to work a message that’s deep. But now I’m talking about you actually being the person who can put a message like that out there. And that takes some self discovery to figure out what makes you different. And again, I don’t like that. I just use the term figure it out. Because it’s not about figuring yourself out. It’s about embodying what makes you different. 

It’s about embodying this deeper message that you have in you. It’s about embodying this deeper purpose that you have in you to the best of your ability. At this moment, that’s all we can do. I have no doubt that five years from now, when I am still living my design, that I will be at a level with my purpose and what I’m doing and what I am sharing and how I am sharing it. That is very different than it is today. I don’t know what that’ll look like. I don’t know what that will be. I surrender to whatever that is. I surrender to the process and I’m committed and devoted to the journey of discovering myself on this little path. But I also want to make money. I also want to feed my family on the way there. 

So I have strategies that I Use. I do put my message out there. I do create episodes like this. We are growing on substack and starting a new platform over there. We are still like expanding on YouTube and expanding our audience over there. I still do things to get results because quite we need to eat. But I am also doing so with depth. I am doing so as the best version of myself that I’m capable of being today. That’s always my highest intention. That is always the number one thing on my priority list is am I leading from the highest place that I can reach within myself right now? Am I as aligned as I possibly can be? 

And if I’m not, I am so in tune with myself that I can see misalignment and I learn from it and that becomes something that I can help other people with. It isn’t about necessarily intellectualizing the deeper work that you are here to share. It’s about embodying it and seeing what comes out of you. If you are a projector, embodying the depth that you are here to share, embodying the depth of work, the purpose that you are here on this earth to fulfill, that wisdom will come out if you allow it. People will recognize that depth and that purpose in you. They will recognize you for your wisdom in this area. But you do have to show people. So there’s always that peace. But this new level of leadership, I hope that this is making you very excited. 

If you are somebody with depth, if you are somebody who leads with heart and soul and purpose, this is our time. I am so sure of that. Because here’s the cool thing. Because of all the things that people have been through, because they have been burned before and because the cool kids club has let them down. Because they are done trying to be accepted and they want. They are looking for something else because the world is kind of falling apart and. And people are scared. They are looking for different things than they were looking for a few years ago. They are looking for depth. They are looking for clarity. They are looking for somebody who actually sees what they’re going through and can lead them through it. That’s what they’re looking for, whether they know it or not. 

Some of them may not even know that they are looking for what you offer until they see it or hear it. So that’s the responsibility that’s on you. Are you allowing yourself to be seen and be heard in all your glory, in the messiness that’s here? But truth, people are feeling into their investments now. People are. I am having more and more people come to me and say, I just feel like I need this now. I don’t know why. I just feel drawn to do this work. I feel drawn to do this work with you now. That’s happening. One, because I think energetically people are moving into this place. And I want to also say that these are a lot of people who are not woo. Who are coming to me with that now. 

People I never thought, and I don’t know a lot of them, but just the type of person I never thought would be knocking on my door saying, I think I need to work with you. I am seeing it in my own life that suddenly people who I never thought would be interested in what I do are asking me questions about what I do. Didn’t see it coming. Why? Because people are. They don’t feel good, they don’t feel in control, they don’t feel comfortable, they’re very deeply uncomfortable, they’re very scared and they are trying to find firm ground and they’re having a hard time. 

And there’s something in them that’s telling them that they have to shore themselves up from the inside out, that they might have to look in different places, that maybe just time management software and a new app isn’t going to take care of the problems that they have. That they may have to actually look at themselves, that they may have to actually go into their energy. They might need to discover something about themselves that they either took for granted or totally didn’t believe was there or were completely oblivious to it. The shifts in the world are changing what people need. They are changing what people are looking for. They are feeling into things where they are just accepting the fact that they know something to be true without necessarily all the facts needing to be there. Right. People are riding on feeling a lot now. 

That leaves them open for people to take advantage of their feelings and the state that they’re in. We see a lot of that politically, I think we see a lot of that too. But then also there’s an opening for people with heart, soul and mission. When you lead with that mission and you put it out there and you just say, this is what I do, this is what I see. This is the deep work that I’m here for. And then you let it go and you just say, and I trust that the right people are going to find me. They do. You just need to put it up there. If you are currently running an authority platform that you own that has your thought leadership on it, where people can connect with you, what you think, how you work, the perspective that you have, your mission, that deeper mission that you have, if you aren’t currently putting that someplace where people can interact with it en masse, not one post, not some little dribbly thing, but something where they can go deep and they can binge with you, then I encourage you to do that right away. The best time to start was yesterday. The second best time to start is right now. 

So I encourage you to get out there because your work is needed. And I’m so excited that this time is going to carve a path and allow for so many beautiful people who do beautiful deep work to discover it. All that human design work that you’re doing on discovering yourself. That’s what this next era is about. That’s what this next era will reward, is you being yourself. Your truth. So keep going.
